Final Fantasy XII Soundtrack Announced
The soundtrack for the upcoming Final Fantasy XII will be released next month in Japan. Titled Final Fantasy XII Original Soundtrack, the four-disc album will feature over 100 songs by the game's composer, Hitoshi Sakimoto, including songs not featured in the game.
The first print limited edition will be sold in a special DVD case that will feature a special twenty-eight page booklet. The soundtrack will be released on April 19th for 3,800 yen ($32.36 US). source: rpgamer |

it should also be noted that in the japanese iTunes music store there is an 11-track 'THE BEST of FINAL FANTASY XII' compilation currently available for ¥1500, or ¥150 per song. You can listen right now by selecting 'Japan' as your country at the bottom of the iTunes store front. FINAL FANTASY is a featured banner up top, and a couple days ago i noticed that Nobuo Uematsu had the 7th most downloaded song in all of japan!

I have it preordered
 It looks so pretty ^^, and I've never had the chance to own a Limited Edition soundtrack, so dammit, I'm going all out for XII. I like Sakimoto's stuff after all!
