Curious. How long did it take you to complete it?

The title says it all. How long did it take you?

It took me about 125 hours, doing half of the side quests, getting everyone 100 Ultimas and Meteors, and getting all six of them to level 100.

I've still got a save on disk three, so I could go back and do the rest of the side quests if I wanted to.

It took me a lot longer because I keep the Playstation on all day even when I'm not playing it so the time adds up. It was like over 200 or something lol. Next time I'll remember to turn it off when I'm not playing it. It did take me a while to level up my characters though. I didn't do many of the sidequests. I had to get a heap of spells for the final battle. It took me quite a while overall, I'll have to go look and see how much time exactly.

The first time through the game I beat it in a little under 100 hours I think. I didn't do alot of side quests, I just did the normal game play. I didn't go around looking for the hidden draw points either, I was confident enough in my team both times. Granted the first time I was missing a few gf's and could have used them and some more magic, but I managed in the end. The second time through though I belive I was around 80 hours. My team was awesome too. I had all the best magics and gf's. 80 hours for a second run through I'm very happy about.

It usually takes me 100+ hours to complete the game, doing most of the sidequests, getting most of the magic, etc.

60-70 hours just playing right through it, I usually make 2 saves before I head into the final area, in my other save I'm hittin about 120 hours so far trying to collect things..

i allmost trying to done all the sidequests in every RPG and i totally enjoy the game...so 150hours for me

The first time I ever beat it took me probably 80 hours, but out of the 14 times I've beaten it I once did it in 25 easily.

What the hell? lol! I can see if you had a nes and were afraid of saved data loss. But I guess it can be like a computer you don't want to turn it off. I leave my computer on when I'm not playing it. Although I think it took me about 40-50 hrs to beat FF VIII maybe. Somewhere around there.

I did it on 75hours first time, and 75 hours 2nd time, but the second time, I had encounter-none through the whole game and My Squall was at level 19 by the end of disc 3, I had most of the cards too, then I got my guys to level 100 which is piss easy at the Island closest to hell. Then I couldn't get some of the cards so I just went to disc 4, and just before Ultimecia I was at 75ish hours I think.

I think it was aroun 100 hours the first time, but I'm not sure. From then on, I think it' taken me on average about 60 hours each time.

I really don't understand why it took you all so long, it can be easily done in around 45-50 hours, so unless you were trying to level up and 100% the game then that should suffice. I've finished it a few times, but 42 the quickest and 81 the longest.
