Aht Urhgan Updates

[Andromeda]

Because the Famitsu thread is a little old and not completely relevant to the matter, since it was covering just one part of the expansion. I figured I would make a more offical thread for all the information and discussions that SE releases on their site.

They have added two new areas, three NPCs, a new monster type and a battle type.

There is going to be a new town, probably much like Rabao or Kazham in the fact that it will be small.

They introduced the Empress of Aht Urhgan Empire, a mithra in charge of the mercenary department and a guy that is in the command of the military.

Plus a new type of battle, this being similar to Garrision and Exp. Force, but there are no NPC to protect, so you are alone to fight it all out against the monsters.

And another new Beastmen type, though they seem to be a friendly beastmen sort of like Goblins to some degree.

Yeah, some of the new stuff you can already access. theres already a new quest in all the towns called Lure of the Wildcat. It gives you a red sentinel badge, and on the badge is numbers in the towns areas. you go find the people in the areas, and talk to get some kind of dialouge. I've started the one in sandy, but not sure how to finish it.

This new expansion is gonna be a good one, though. Already two new jobs, and I plan on taking Corsair, first chance I get and lvling that as high as i can. Definitely looks good.

New updates on the website, a new battle called Beseiged, which is a lot of what they were talking about when the city is attacked it seemed. I does not appear that the city will have monsters roaming, but like Garrision, you attivate the mode and you have to fight in the city. It sounds like it could be a lot of fun. There would seem to be new NPC that hang out in the fight too. So it is important how the battle goes.

And a new area is added, some forest or rain forest. I was hoping for more jobs announced, but oh well. I think there is only going to be two battle fought types.

hmmm... do you think the puppet master is going to be that good?
i just hope that Odin becomes a summon becuz he'd be a sweet summon to have...then they need bahamut too

Hey i was wondering if ya guys knew where corsair and Blue mage would be located as a job quest lol, i think Corsair would be in the place in Yuhtunga jungle the place where u get Samurai lol forgot the town name lol, but Blue mage is kinda wierd to think of lol

Blue Mage will no doubt be found in the city of Al Zahbi, which is the capitol of Aht Urhgan. And while I cannot be certain that the Corsair will be in Norg, it does make sense for it to be found there. It could though, just as easily be in the Aht Urhgan realms. Norg is more about the Far East, and even though Gilgamesh is pirate like, a lot of them are Ninja or Samurai types than anything else. Which would make a Corsair a little strange in there. So it could be easily somewhere else.

Ya i see where ya commin from with that but hopefully norg because i kinda know how to get there, but i dunno it will probally be online a few days afta someone finds it in the game lol, i just got back to playn it but unfortunatly on Carbuncle so cant chat wit ya lol, but now at the moment i wanna get KH2 cant wait for that to come out but i digress i want this game 2 lol,

Well unless it is a completely simulateous release, Japan will probably get it between two days to a week before we do. I do not know, and if Japan does get it first, then we will probably already know how. Hopefuly that will not be the case, and then will be a insane mad dash for the new jobs of the likes that Vana'diel has not seen since introduction of the Fellowship Quest. If it requires missions or anything more than traveling to the new land, then it probably will not be nearly as bad, but still pretty bad. The Diabolos was crazy from what I hear and that was only a few people since not everyone had gotten to 3-5 yet. I guess time will tell how SE wants to handle this.

Hopefully the past will improve the future.

Well SE has updated their site again, they finally added the Puppetmaster that was announced at the Fan Festival. Plus they introduced 3 new monsters, one being Cerberus, which is interesting since he was a summon/GF from FFVIII. So I will be curious to know if he is going to be an avatar, it does not seem like it, but who knows. There is also the Trolls, I find that interesting that SE is adding Troll Beastmen, but that is their call. And two new areas, a volcano and the Troll city.
