I didn't think it was that bad. The only bad part is I'm afraid that the third one is going to be horrible because...well things changed (not to spoil anything).

I really liked the ending. I believe that the end didn't quite match the end to the first one (because in 2 it was a bit stretched), but it still gave that twist that you wouldn't have really expected. Hostel was a "give me my 90 minutes back" movie.

That is hands down the smartest statement that I've heard all day. No joke. All copies of Hostel should be destroyed and Eli Roth should spend the rest of his life in a torture chamber for putting out that movie.

Horrible.

But as for Saw II, I really enjoyed it. But then again, I've got alot of respect for Twisted Pictures for a few different reasons.

But to each their own, I guess. I've only heard a few different people say that they didn't like this film. I hope the third doesn't go the way that I think it will and I hope they stop after the third one. Going past a trilogy is just risky business these days.

Well at least it had the same writers in Saw 2. & Liegh Wannel produced it (he played adam in Saw and also produced and wrote that film)

But still......that acting....besides tobin bell?

Ugh.....F*** that.

Really, the stuff in the middle wasn't that great, and I honestly don't like the main girl. It was the ending of it that made it. I understand what you mean by the acting, and it is tough to match the awesomeness of the first Saw, but it was still pretty good.

i liked both movies, but only because i enjoy horror films. but i have to agree both movies were kind of.... hmmmm purportless? i wouldnt buy either films, or go see them again. hostel was only good in the sense it was pretty damn gory and took gore to a weird level. saw II, took a good idea and keeps stepping on it.... makes u wonder what saw III is gonna be like.
