Final Fantasy Gaiden: The Sequel to FF8

i saw a video of FFGaiden. It was nice but what do you guys think is more beautiful: The FF gaiden that was never released other than Japn or or FF 8?

Is there a link to this? If so, post it because a lot of us may not know what it is. I never heard of a sequel, or is this just one of them rumours that goes flying around? Before I believe you I need proof.

A secret battle with Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin? Interesting, hardly proves of a sequel though. Unless you happen to know the story behind this clip Palazzo.

I once saw this on a website and thought it may have been a fake or something. I guess it would have been pretty cool if that was released here (if it even exists). I wonder what the storyline would have been. It would have been pretty cool to see Seifer, Fuijin and Rajin as the main characters.

Nah, I have no idea, sorry. It could easily be some kind of hack though, since I cannot find much about it at all.

I have ALOT of doubts after seeing this video. I have a small 3rd party program (which allows you to hack into your save games and alter just about ANYTHING). One of the included options was to change your skins. So you could make yourself look like Edea, or Seifer or whom ever you wanted.

Also the fact that the graphics are EXACTLY the same has me doubting.

The music is simple, play a battle without music, and later add the music of your choice. You will hear a small pause between the monsters dying and the victory tune.

I have TONS of doubts about this one.

EDIT #2: Haha, just noticed something in the video. The spell that Fujin uses on the Tonberries misses yet they still die.

I think it's bullsh*t, pure and simple. It would be totally cool, but it's entirely unrealistic. Tonberry's in a snow region for one.

Fujin using Rapture to try and take the Tonberry's out of the battle, like a spell. She isn't weak on screen, so creating that effect while not in critical would have required an Aura, which she wasn't gold tone, as you are in that spell effect, and her hp wasn't yellow or weak. So hitting a limit was highly unlikely. A spell in that form isn't possible by what we know in the first game, and the limit is too powerful since it can end a battle instantly.

I wonder if you have even beat Final Fantasy VIII. The ending is pretty final, not like Final Fantasy VII. I don't think there could be a sequel to this game.

Ok, by seeing that clip its obviously a fake. The graphics are the same as FF8, whereas in a sequel they would of been improved. And, as said of before, why is Tonberry in the Trabia region? Definatley not a real thing.

That would be sweet, I can't imagine how great ff 8 would look if they made a sequel, why don't they just re-make the game so people can relive the story?

Final Fantasy Gaiden was released in NA under the name Final Fantasy Adventure and was released in 91'.
