Layout Critisim.

Hey. Ive just created Version 4.0 of my website Square Syndicate. Please check it out and post some suggestions/critisim back. IM changing a couple of things already. soo.. Just tell me what you think! thanks.

It's fine, it's asking for C&C on the layout.

It looks pretty nice. It has a nice clean layout ... although I don't like how the adspace is so large. It overshadows the "nameplate" / site header, especially with such vibrant colors in comparison to the rest of the layout. The site overall has a organized feel, but I would suggest adding icons or images when you post news, so it grabs the reader and won't look so text heavy.

Interesting logo, by the way.

It looks pretty good. Very easy on the eyes. The gray is a nice shade. It's dark, but not too dark. I don't like how stacked it looks however. I am running a larger resolution and your margins look quite big. I noticed that some of your links, like the news archive open up in a new full screen window but are even smaller than the main page. And your only final fantasy link FFIV seems to be in a different color scheme. You should try and learn PHP or use CSS to make updating color schemes easier. other tha that the page looks nice.

I must agree with the other two comments. The colors are really pleasant and are also not intimidating. I personally feel that the overall site is quite organized and therefore not a pain to cycle through.

Well thanks! I apprecite it. And yes some of the links dont work. Im getting the PHP includes correct first.

Im not Entirely Partial To Grey. but it seems thats the best color to do a layout in. Everyone likes it.

The icons are nice-- the Final Fantasy based ones. I personally don't like the icons before the "last post" area. Also, I feel it's a bit bland. A little more color in the main banner would be nice.

Hmmm... On your main page, I don't like how the links turn black when you pass over them. It makes them very difficult to see. The scrolling text in the top is a bit blurry. Another personal thing I dislike is that you only have info for one game. Your site is overall good, layout wise, but work on the content.
