New eStore Installed

I just wanted to announce that the new store is finally installed.

There is now a link in the top navigation titled, 'eStore'... click on it and it will take you to the bank, store, and other informative stuff.

Here is a list of the current products, with more to come!

1) Bank
2) Donate
3) Admin Donate
4) Change Username
5) Bold Username
6) Bold User Title
7) Italic Username
8) Italic User Title
9) Underline Username
10) Underline User Title
11) Colored Username
12) Glow Username
13) Change User Title
14) Thief
15) Thief Immunity

The thief success rate is set at 15%... and if you fail you will lose 2 reputation points... so take your chances. The prices are still set as the default... but there may be some adjustments.

I installed the store as a test-run to see how it will function. There will more than likely be many adjustments and modifications in the days to come. I hope you guys enjoy it thus far. I know some of the items may seem useless, but at least we have SOMETHING to spend our hard-earned gold on.

I will post any additional items here if I add any... some ideas are Profile enhancements, user enhancements, and more.

Yeah, the glowing username is not working. I mean, I can't see it at least. It probably works and my computer just hates me.

Yeah... it only works in Internet Explorer. Why? I dunno... I have a glowing name too and I can only see it in IE... I guess it just something Firefox and other browsers wont support.

I love the eStore, thanks Fuzz for everything you have given us! The bank is really useful, I don't need a lot of gil to carry around, plus just incase some of my gil has been stolen I got a lot more in my bank!

I can't wait for more items later on!

...crap, I think I just wasted 400 gold. My username's still blue. Oh well.

Oh, wait, no... color only works in IE. Oh well again.

Oh, one question, can people steal from you if your money is in the bank???

I can see your username color, and custom title color. So it is fine for those people who are using Internet Explorer. It's orange as usually Loco.

That's awesome. There's just one thing... TFF Blue doesn't have it yet. Just in case you didn't know. Like last time. Heh.

I will probably make some use of this. What good is the gil for besides buying stuff? (That's a rhetorical question, btw). I'm gonna spend all my money right now. So I can switch back to TFF Blue and not have to worry about it anymore, at least for a little while.

It says Thief Immunity is 5000 Points, but that I don't have enough to purchase it, even though I have over 5000. What's up with that?

EDIT: I banked 5000, and tried it from there, too. Didn't work.

EDIT: Spent more money. Now, really don't have enough. Still curious.

EDIT: Do we know who has Thief Immunity?

EDIT: Does percentage chance for success for Thief change depending on who you try to steal from, or the amount? And if you fail, do people find out who you tried to steal from?

telegraph - yeah... blue is usually the last template that I edit. I will be sure to finish it tonight. thank godness for those blue fans! Don't know too much good for the Gold besides buying stuff... as the forums grow maybe we can find alternative uses.

Sasquatch - What is the error message you are getting, if any? I just checked the DB and admin panel and it looks ilke it should work. Give me any additional details. If not, I will try to buy it too, I have the gold to spend and I dont want anyone stealing from me, haha... also as a side note, the immunity lasts for 100 days.

vat2ff - When you deposit money into the bank, you gain 1.25% interest every 2 days... meaning, if you put in 1000 dollars you will have 1012 in 2 days... may not seem like much, but it will add up.

More updates on the way, i'm still playing around w/ this bad boy. I'm glad everyone likes it so far, and it seems that for the most part there aren't many bugs yet... *crosses fingers*

It's just a simple "You do not have enough points to perform this action". I just tried Thief, and I got the same thing -- Thief is free though, right? In which case...hellifino.

I also tried Thief, only for the amount that I have...not in the bank, but available. That seems to work. It was only for seven points, but at least I know how it works. Apparently, you can only use Thief for the amount you have available, and no more.

EDIT: WHOA! And... If a Thief attempt fails, you lose the amount you were trying to get. I wish I had known that...

EDIT: If you lose your money when you fail a Thief attempt, shouldn't the chances be much closer to 50%, instead of only 15%?
