Where can the hardtype be found now?

I just found out that cyberveldt is no more. (If you go to their old address it's one of those cheesy "This name is available for sale" sites now.) Does anyone know if there's a new home page for the FFVI hardtype patch that was being worked on there?

Unfortunately, cyberveldt seems to be dead and gone. I went looking for i90east and found my way to a thread in the CoN forums that suggests he got mega-absorbed into FFXI, and as such hasn't been paying much attention to FFVI lately. Apparently, the website also suffered in his absence.

If you're looking for FFVI EV2, I have a copy. I'll post it here for anybody who's looking to play it.

If anybody reads this and you don't know about this hack, PLAY IT!!!! It massively rocks and makes what was already a good game orders of magnitude better! Probably the best complete hack I've seen out there (although when Cain's gets finished, his will probably take the title away).

I take that back... I apparently can't post it because it's 343KB, and the forums won't let me upload anything that's more than 64KB. Any mods willing to help me out here?

Technically, discussion of hacking isn't allowed here at TFF. Now, I made an exception for Cain Highwind. I'm making an exception for i90east's FFVIhardtype as well. Of course, since this particular hack is already in its completed form, I'll be closing this thread after providing you with the information you need.

Oh, and if any legal ramifications ever come around, TFF can't be held responsible. You'll be pulling this from my website, not TFF's server.

Check my news page here and view the update for February 8th, 2006. There shall be no more threads regarding this specific hack, understood? Just trying to keep everyone out of trouble. ^_^

In light of some slight modifications which may happen to the rules in the near future, I've gone ahead and reopened this thread, as well as unstuck it. While it's okay to discuss this now, I'd still like to keep discussion to the game itself, rather than the actual act of hacking (i.e. how to patch the ROM, how to customize the hack, etc.).
