The Flintstones vs. The Jetsons

Okay, I thought I would make up this poll because I was totally bored.

Which show did you prefer to watch? I remember when I was little, I loved watching the Flintstones. They were the modern stone age family! There was Fred and his very bad temper, Barney who always managed to do something stupid! Wilma was always yelling at Fred for some reason. Bam Bam ran around smacking people in the head with his club. Betty.. well.. she didn't do too much lol.

My favourite episode of the Flintstones was always the one where it was Fred and Wilma's wedding anniversary. They bought her a piano from some guy who was a criminal. Barney and Fred end up trying to get the piano into the house but Barney would always end up getting crushed some how lol. It was a classic.

Or the Jetsons, the futuristic family. The one thing I remember on this show was Spacely Sprocket yelling 'You're fired' every episode. There was George, he wasn't the brightest person in that family. There was Jane, she was the smartest one out of her and her husband. Judy, she was a typical teenage daughter, always going out with boys. Oh and how could we forget little Elroy and Astro. I always thought Astro sounded a lot like Scooby Doo!

They had it easy. If they wanted dinner, all they had to do was press a button and then there you go... dinner was served straight away. They had the robot called 'Rosie' she did all the house work. There transportation was flying space ships.

Okay, so my question to you guys... which show was your favourite? The Flintstones or the Jetsons?

For myself it had to be the Flintstones because Barney was such a funny character and always ended up being yelled at by Fred.

Now it's up to you guys! Vote away!

I used to watch both shows when I was very young. As much as I liked them both I defenitelyhad a fave. I thought The Jetsons were good, and it entertained me. but The Flintstones took it for me. I alwasy thought that from Fred alwasy getting mad to Bam-Bams lack of lines it made it a hysterical show. I haven't seen it in at least a decade, but for me theres no question. The Flintstones are the better of the 2 and I think they rock! Sorry for the stupid pun

the jetsons pwnd - i loved that 60's vision of the future. everything at the push of a button. a big, red, analog button lol. i was always curious about where the ground was when i was a kid. their condo/apartment/whatever always reminded me of cloud city from episode V (maybe lucas was a jetsons fan?). oh and i had a crush on judy too

anyone remember the flinstones meet the jetsons? that crazy crossover where the jetsons go back in time somehow and end up at fred's company picnic or something? this is off the top of my head, but i just remember fred being jealous of george jetson's bag full of futuristic gizmos. i also remember thinking it was lame even at a very young age.

The Flintstones for sure. Why? Betty and Wilma. If I was a cartoon character living in Bedrock, I'd be hitting on them all the time.

But seriously.

The Flintstones. I just liked them better. That's not saying that The Jetsons wasn't good, though.

Haha, yeah I remember watching that. I wasn't too crazy about it.

I really liked the Flintstones alot. I don't remember much, just that I would watch them whenever I got the chance(and still would if I ever got the chance, but no Boomerang ). I watched the Jetsons too, just not as much for some reason. But yeah I loved the Flintstones... I just kinda got lost when they brought in that green alien dude, I forget his name, it's on the tip of my tongue. Wasn't it like Gad-zooks or something?

I CANNOT STAND that b*****d Cosmo Spacely, firing George like that; at least I can be thankful that Mel Blanc, the one that did that devil's voice is dead. Same with Wilma and Bettey, they're so self rightoues and mean and manhandling Fred and Barney. Where'd those women get ir amazing strength, from eating their Wheaties?!? The Great Gazoo is OK though. Ditto for Henry Orbit. But by and large, The Jetsons rule!!

P.S.: If I was George, I'd beat Spacley up to a pulp, he's such a midget. Also, given the fact that The Flintstones made the live action big screen twice, who can say The Jetsons might do the same? If they do, I know the perfect actor to play the evil Spacely--Danny De Vito.

relm takes classes from Quistis - (lv 2)
I just have to side with the Flintstones on this one.
I used to watch them all the time.
Not to mention I used to eat their vitamins everyday.
They were like a part of my daily life as a child.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the Jetsons too :0
