Given the rumors behind the FFVII director's cut and what not for the PS3, who can say FFVIII might follow suit? And with it, voices for that as well--and celeb voices at that. So here's my list of FFVIII celeb voices, what of you?

Squall: David Borealis (as he's already voiced "leon" in KH)
Rinoa: Kirsten Dunst (bright and bubbly)
Seifer: Sean Pertwee (does a great "bad guy" voice)
Cid: Ian Macellan. (of "gandalf" fame)

Ian meccelan is too old for cid , besideds, isn't he dead, (no offense he was awesome i just heard rumors)

Are you talking about Ian McKellen? I think he would be a bit too old to talk for Cid, he has an English accent too so I don't think it would really suit his character. If he could do an American accent, that would be sweet.

Squall: David Boreanaz (I thought his voice suited his character well in Kingdom Hearts)
Rinoa: Shiri Appleby
Quistis: Mena Suvari
Zell: Axl Rose (hahaha he would sound so awesome)
Selphie: Emilie De Ravin (I think she would make a great voice for Selphie!)
Irvine: You guys said Garth Brooks, I think he's a bit too old for the part lol. I don't really know who could talk for him. Someone with a southern accent haha.

Squall definently David Boreanaz he perfected Squalls voice.
Rinoa-I dont know why but I thought it might suit her um I forgot her name she is from the princess diaries
Zell-I dont know someone who sounds very hiper and energentic
Irvine-he needs a guy who has a southern accent
Selphie-A very cheery soundng person
I cant think of anyothers I only came up with 2 for Squall and Rinoa.

i do not know about the others, but i have 2 celeb ideas for zell's voice. the first one being the guy who played neil (the guy with the nasally new york accent) in FF: Spirits Within. the second choice would be for the guy who does joey wheeler in the american Yu-Gi-Oh series. for some reason i always imagined zell with one of those two voices because the voices used would be so perfect for him lol!
