Friendly Mike vs Legendary

It was a cold Febuary day in the village of Naununskeh, the time was roughly 5pm and Shi'akhai was leaning against one of the local's houses, many of which were small one floor log buildings with tiled roofs, and although most of the resdents were quite aware of Shi'akhai's presence they chose to stay out of his way.

Indeed Shi'akhai was of an enemy guild to Naununskeh, and although he had caused no upset amoungst the community as of yet, it was only a matter of time...

Mike takes classes from Quistis - (lv 2)
Kentaro, the warrior trainer, was traveling on vacation. After his last student he thought a little time away from the dojo would be good for him. This was the first time in decades that he had left his home in the mountains.

Kentaro travelled light. He wore a two layer white kimono with a red belt. Attached to the red belt were his katana, parry knife and a small bag with food items and coins.

After days of walking Kentaro was finally enjoying himself. In these lands people wre experienceing their lives, not just living them. Children played happily in the street, shop owners talked with people walking by, and artists could be seen all over, painting pictures and weaving articulate rugs. This village seemed happy.

Kentaro did miss his dojo and the many saprring matches that he had there, though. His body ached for battle and he wondered how long he would have to travel before he found a warrior worth fighting. At the dojo it was easy, all the best fighters in the world came to him for training. Now he was seeking them.

Kentaro noticed that the locals all seemed to act strange as they passed this man leaning against a house. They crossed the street to avoid getting near him. Kentaro sat at a nearby cafe, ordered some saki and watched to see if he coud learn what was so different about this man.

What could have easily been an hour passed before the dark figure moved. As the night settled in he became increasingly hard to distinguish from the shadows. Certainly those who did not know of his presence would be blissfully unaware at this stage.

A flicker of darkness sprang from within the shadow of the house, moving perfectly upright and as fast as an arrow. The sudden burst of movement was a little suprising and after some initial confusion the shilouette black robed man lay crouched on the tile roof of the house he was leaning on.

Although it would be impossible to distinguish, the ninja's eyes were fixed on Kentaro in a way that would make even the most hardy men uncomfortable. However his demonic glance quickly moved on... to one of the village guard stationed a few metres away from the ninjas current location.

A shimmer of a blade penetrated the darkness, as it was drawn from its scabbard. Unquestionably Shi'akhai intended to make this man the first victim of the night...

Kentaro would have only a few second to act if he so chose...
