DarkViVi warrior in training.

(OOC:We will start right from the begining here. When talking out of character or "OOC" always put parenthesis around your words so that it is clear that you, not your character, are saying them.

When starting a battle it is always important to make your first post descriptive. You want to give your opponent a clear visual of what you look like and what kind of enviroment you are in.

For this battle I am not using my character from the character stats page. I am just going to be Kentaro, the Sensei.)

Kentaro sat crosslegged in meditation. He was waiting for his young apprentice to appear for today's lesson. The dojo had a mix of the old style dojos of Japan and newer ones of the western world. wooden training weapons were placed neatly in barrels. Punching bags hung from the ceiling. The entire floor was made of a soft padded material, specifically for sparring.

Kentaro wore a black karate pants with a red belt. He stood around 6 foot tall and had scars all over his body from past wars and battles.

When his student walked into the room he opened his eyes and said, "Welcome, this is your final training. After this you will be an official warrior."

Kentaro leaped up onto his feet, bowed to the student and then took on a fighting stance.

"Hit me if you can."

(OOC) HEY you are good

The 300 year old catoblepas takes of his hooded cape for the first time in 240 years and bows to his master.
His leaves his facial mask on the floor and then step up to the sensei and takes a swing after him.

(OOC) How about that?

[Mike]

(OOC: yeah pretty good, just include all of your ooc comments in the parenthesis. BTW I am just going to call your character Cato because it is easier to type for me.)

Kentaro bends backwards as Cato swings. He follows up by doing many gymnastic backflips and backwalk-overs to the otherside of the room.
He then reaches down and picks two of the wooden katanas out of a barrel. He throws one like a spear at Cato's head.

"See if you can hit me with this!"

He then takes on a samurai stance with the katana held over his head.

[Raikkonen]

Cato takes the katana and cuts off the littlefinger on his left hand, to show his master he is not a wimp.
He then walks around a bit swinging the sword to get the feel for a puny human sword as he is an orcish black mage. Then he summons a magical spell and his blade shines up in flames, he now look towards his sensei and comes charging towards him with a blazing sword, when he reaches his master he cuts after his head.

[Mike]

(OOC:LOL, "cuts off his own finger." I like it. You made me laugh.)

Kentaro shocked by Cato's bleeding finger barely raolls out of the way to avoid the burning sword.

"So you feel you are ready for magic? If you are fire then I shall be ice."

Ketaro's sword begins glowing blue and he points it twoards Cato. He shoots three large chunks of ice in his direction and then leaps straight up into the air.

(OOC-LEGENDARY: i dunno you have to get the answer from my master I think)
Cato didn't see the powerful icemagic from his sensei so it hit him right in his chest, he falls down, lookes at his master and as he rises from the floor he unleashes a mighty roar.
Cato back on his feet mumbles silently and *uses warp magic* suddenly he appears on his masters left side striking after him with his flaming sword

(ooc: You are improving very much at this. I am both pleased and sruprised. I like how creative you are attacking. You did forget to delete your sig from your last post. That's okay though just edit and delete. I do it all the time.)

As Kentaro desends from his jump he is surprsed by Cato's abilities, but not unprepared. He quickly puts himslf into a pin that creates an Ice wall around him. Cato's sword strikes the wall and causes the ice to shatter.

The small shards of ice make small cuts in Kent's skin but it isn't anything that he can't handle. He begins throwing lightning fast puches and kicks that knock the falling chunks of ice towards Cato.

(OOC:thanks it's quite fun actually but i think the biggest problem *except for forgetting removing my sig* LoL is the creativity part, I started a battle against "legendary" look at it if you want it was kinda hard to try and describe everything but i think i managed)


Cato is surprised by his masters quick thinking and lookes amazed at the icechunks coming towards him. He holds his flaming sword in front of himself but to no avail, the ice pierces through the flames of his sword and hits him all over his upper body.

Cato now in anger picks up his sword and yet again mumbles a magical fomula. The katana now blazes up even brighter and he walks across the room away from his powerful mentor.

He stops in the other side of the room and starts swinging the sword from side to side before he makes a gesture with it and all of a sudden a huge flare appears and shoots across the room.

[Mike]

Kentaro tries to use another icewall but there is no stopping this force. His wall only buffers the flare and causes a massive explosion. The explosion sends more ice fractures everywhere and knocks Kentaro through a wall and out into the dojo's garden.

Out of anger, Kentaro slashes a bonzei plant and it immediately freezes and shatters.

Kentaro breathes in the night air and then yells to Cato, "It is much too stuffy in there! Won't you come outside and play with me in the garden?"

With that said Kentaro leaps up to the slanted rooftop of the dojo, Crouching Tiger style.

[Raikkonen]

Cato hears his mentor *walks outside* when he finally comes outside he looks at the plants in the garden and yet again mumbles a magical formula this time hundreds of tiny fireballs shoots everywhere in the garden, torching all the plants, trees and the dojo itself.

He actually speaks now for the first time in 130 years and he says: "master you are quite the powerful one worthy of being my mentor, come down from the roof and prove it yet again"

Cato now walkes through the flames in the garden without taking damage towards the roof where his mentor crouched, awaits his masters next move ready for anything.

[Mike]

Kentaro does some impressive arial maneuver off the roof and lands in a crouch, followed by a roll. Coming out of the roll Kentaro leaps up into the air and lets out a bloodcurling yell. The night sky becomes active. The wind picks up and thunder is heard in the distance.

"Damnit do you know how long it took to get this garden perfect like this?"

He raises his arms up and vines quickly begin growing and try to grab ahold of Cato.

Kentaro laughs, "It took me about 5 minutes!"

(OOC: thats really funny LoL)


As Cato tought he was prepared for everything wich in turn he foud out he wasn't, he struggles to get loose of the plants.

Not sure of what to do he summons a powerful tremor, the ground shakes and the plants losses their grip, when they do Cato cuts them and sends another fireball towards his mentor.

[Mike]

In a panic, Kentaro leaps forward over the fireball. As the fireball travels under him it singes his chest hair and pants.

Kentaro lands in a forward roll and stands up, surprised that no serious damage had been done to him.

"Damnit! My favorite pair of pants! And look at this! How am I supposed to pick up any ladies with a scorch chest?"

The wind picked up more and dark clouds moved in with a wave of heavy rain.

Kentaro dropped his sword threw his arms into the air and let out another horrific shout. A blinding bolt og lightning steaked from across the sky and hit him. Kentaro now had electrical sparks running all over his body.

Hoping that the lightning blinded Cato somewhat, he rushed at him and followed with a series of electrified punches and kicks.
