Could we of a Clans Forum?

Have you guys ever though of making a clans forum. It would be pretty cool to have a clan. You could have a place called Clans Rp in it to. Were peoples clans fight with eachouther or agains eachouther in an rp.

Just a though..

Er...actually... we had those 3 years ago... and they flopped. Too much planning, not enough action.

We're actually in the process again, so don't worry about it too much right now.

Thank you very much. If you guys do bring it back, it wouldn't be crapy when I post in it. Aslong as you guys have the thing that I said on my first post on this thread, then everything will go smooth.

Yeah, if you look at this archive here http://web.archive.org/web/200112031...sy.com/forums/ (it's near the bottom under Dawn of Judjement) You can see that we had several clans. But the major problem was that most members of a clan never did anything except put something in their sig denoting that they were members of whichever clan. We tried to have a few RPs here and there but many of the clan members either didn't know how to RP or didn't care to. It was just a fad and a poorly executed idea. Right now the main focus of our staff is to get site activity up. We had a lot of activity back then and more than enough members to support having clans. If you want to join an RP Club then check out Strong Bads: Salvation Army in the Clubs forum. Or Start your own RP club and maybe once we both get enough members we can have battles.

I'd like to re-open clans. The problem is your is your approach to clans/tribes. You have the common thought of "let's have all RP clans". No, no, it won't work like that.

Site activity is fine with like 162 posts + a day. What we need is a new system that encompasses a game and uses everyones strengths on the forum. What we need really is a new strategic plan for this.

I have one if anyone is interested in hearing it???

I hope your comment wasn't to me. I mean, do you see me worried here? Issue is, if you don't change it, it will have the same results with perhaps mariginal more success due to activity.

Yes, it was to you. There's already an idea in process. It's completely different from the old CW ideas. You should talk with Andromeda and Merlin about it, too. Mostly Merlin.

Not really. The first two I listed for access to Shinra, which is where CrazyHorse is being discussed. The latter two are the ones with the ideas for CrazyHorse.

You would probably be best off speaking with me rather than Merlin. I have not really seen him around for a while, so I think he is going through a busy period of college/life, or whatever. But I am the one that has picked up the project and been doing a lot of the work on it recently. Mainly bringing all the ideas into an actual product. I am familiar with it all, since I've read through it, rewritten it, and I have to rewrite it again.

Well Crazyhorse currently is a private project in that I do not want to let the public know about it until it is ready to be use. One of the problems of the FW and CW was that they were made before the system was finished, which ended up making the people around on their hands playing RPs between each other. I do not want that to happen on this. It will be fully playable when it is released. Most of the talking is either done is Shin-ra or outside of the forums. I do have AIM, its in the profile.

Getting into Shin-ra is as simple as sending a PM to S and being let in 2 minutes later. Or however long it takes for S to get the message. It is a public forum more or less, but you have to ask to get it.
