Frank Zappa
Yo, what's up diggity dogs! Word out to my homies and bitches.
Moving on, I'm just sittin' here listenin' to "Joe's Garage" and I was just thinkin' to myself... "Gee! I wonder if anyone else at TFF likes Mr. Zappa?" Yeah man.. I dunno, he's probably one of the most talented people out there. Even though his songs are bizarre, he's still pretty catchy, not to mention hilarious! I've only heard the one album but.. I imagine his other stuff is also amazing? "With a tongue like a cow, she could make you go wow! Catholic Girls! With the tiny little moustache!" |

Yeah, I have to agree, he was definitely a little on the crazy/weird side, but you're right, SB, he had some legitimate talent. In a way different, and in another way, genius. I think the fact that Steve Vai speaks highly of what he's done really says a lot. Vai did some stuff with him, and really enjoyed what Frank brought to the music scene. |

Frank Zappa is one of the few people i consider a 'Legendary Artist'. Zappa's music was unique and original and (more or less) still is today. I heard some of his music round my mates house and instantly liked it, so as soon as i get paid i'm going to see if i can get any of his albums. Still, a fantastic artist, especially when compared to the crap thats in the charts.

Jazz From Hell and and Sheik Yerbouti are probably my favourite albums by him, but I only got about half of his huge discography. |

Frank Zappa, in my mind, is THE greatest composer of our generation. I think all I need to say is "G-Spot Tornado". But definitely my favorite Zappa album was "The Yellow Shark". The man = Genius.
