Question about Rikku

Is there a way to increase the damage dealt by Rikku's items (such as the fire gem)? I've been wondering if raising magic increases the damage, but I haven't tested it. Please tell me if anyone knows.

Well it is worth to try it...anyways later you are going to have another full charged overdrive... so you can try it once to see if it works.

I have played that game since it was on the shelf and I never saw a difference

There is little to no change, they're items, its based on what you combine, though there is a combo that does max damage to everything *Secret*
Also, Rikku has better combos then doing damage.

I wish I could tell you but I realy never use Rikku's overdrive mostly in fear I'll mix somthing bad that will do very little damage and waste a big item or cure the enemy.

Rikku was my strongest character, there are so many possibilities with her overdrive and some of the items are strong on their own if you capture enough monsters for the arena hint hint, I also taught Tidus to steal and use, but Rikku's trio of 9999 is awsome and then if you have supreme gem and one other they do major damage on their own.

There are mix list you can look up to see exactly what combinations you can use and what they can do, I found that very handy.

I doubt that would work. A higher magic stat affecting items, I don't think so somehow. It could be easily done using an Overdrive, but you'd need the right combination to do it properly (i always focused on the more curative ones myself), and possibly even a fair few Overdrive attempts.

Ummmm the higher Rikku's magic was the harder or stronger she would hit it realy depends on umm the magic increase and ummmmm rikku is not crap to tell u she is one of the best characters cause she mixes like idk an alchemist or something shes not strong but she's good in the mixing and her overdrive if you can get a good combination you can kill a strong as$ monster with just her ( no jk ) so try it out you might pull it off

I beat seymore the first time with just her and Yuna, as Tidus got stoned and hit before I got to cure him lol.
