This is a problem for a poll. There are tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of likable Anime characters out there.

On topic, my favorite is Guts from Berserk. He weilds what I guess is a 300 lbs long sword like I swing a twig and slice three people in two with one punishing blow.

That's quite a hard decision. Usually, I go with Gendo Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Other characters I love, include, but aren't limited to:

-Hajime Saito (Rurouni Kenshin)
-Asuka Langley Soryu (Evangelion)
-Nicholas D. Wolfwood (Trigun)
-Maes Hughes (Fullmetal Alchemist)
-Eikichi Onizuka (Great Teacher Onizuka)
-Kenshin Himura (Ruroni Kenshin)
-Vash the Stampede (Trigun)
-Alex Louis Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist)
-Keisuke Yamanami (PeaceMaker Kurogane)

All of them make me exceedingly happy for various reasons.
