Mm. I've played Ragnarok Online and Guild Wars. Whether I return to them is variable. I might.

I have XI but no credit card to pay for it. Ho ho ho.

I play WoW.

As I've said in the WoW vs FFXI thread it is by far the best MMORPG ever made.

In the past I've played Everquest, Final Fantasy XI, Runescape, Another World, very little RO.

I used to play this mediocre MMORPG called Legend of Mir. It was dominated by Europeans and South Koreans. The segregation was wonderful.

Anyway, the gameplay got tedious and levelling up became a chore and when the game is no longer fun to play then it is clearly time to stop.

RO doesnt work on my comp 4 some reason x_x

I used to play RO, FFXI, Pristontale, RS and FFL. Through playing all these these titles, I came to a conclusion some time ago. I ****ing hate MMORPGs. As Winter said, they become a chore, and that's not what I look for in a game. FFXI is the WORST MMORPG that I have ever played (It would beat RS if it didn't cost money). Cheers.

Haha. I quit FFXI twice for Runescape. Then I quit Runescape for nothing. Then I started FFXI again. Then I played both side by side with a bit of regular PC gaming. Then I quit all for WoW and havn't looked back since.

Ragnarok Online, Baby! I LOVE that game. It's so addictive... I didn't even bother leveling, I just went online to talk to the friends I made. Well...and level at the same time.

Does Diablo II count? That was one addicting mofo.

I'm prolly gonna get WoW sooner or later though...

I'm shocked no one mentioned Eve Online.

Though I don't have it on my own computer, I've witnessed it on Dan's, and let me tell you... it's certainly different. Compared to the other MMO titles, it's almost more of an MMORTS than it is an MMORPG. Nonetheless, I think it's an amazing game, and is certainly one I'll be looking into acquiring myself soon.

As far as my MMO titles, I s'pose FFXI would be the only one on the list. Oh, and FFL... it's not as fun as it used to be. Probably because Jintatsu quit playing.

I played Anarchy Online for a long time a while back just cause it was free for a year. Its a pretty damn good game, though. If you bought the expansions then you had to pay the monthly charge, but if you just have the regular game its free.

The game that I am playing right now, though, is called Planetside. I don't even know if you could call it a MMORPG though, as its more of a MMOFPS. The whole game is PvP though, and all it is is a huge war. You join one of three factions, and basically just fight it out over like 10 continents against the two other factions. You don't level up like you would in a traditional MMORPG, because you HP always stays the same, but you earn certifications every level, and better weapons, armor, vehicles cost more certification points. Also, when you are the leader of a squad you earn command experience rather than normal experience, which allows you to level up in command rank. This allows you more advanced options that an officer in the Army or Navy or whatever would have. You have a private chat channel where you can talk and give orders, track enemy movements and populations on continents, and you even get an orbital strike attack at the highest command ranks where you can drop a massive airstrike on a group of enemies. Its probably one of the most addicting games I've ever played.
