Main Site Closed, TFF v5.5 on the way

I just uploaded the 'closed' index again on to the main site...

I figured it is time to start deleting all of the old files and begin uploading all the new pages for The Final Fantasy v5.5

The new site will feature a new, clean look. Along with just a new design will be tons of new media, wallpapers, games, and other downloads. Most importantly this will give me a chance to organize the site and start fall-cleaning on the server.

The forums will remain open. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. You will love the new site, I promise. We will rule Final Fantasy on the internet, mwhahaha.

Anyways, yeah... I'll be sure to post another update once the site is officially re-opened. Thanks for your patience.

Haha, yeah, seriously. The new designs are amazing; you'll all love them. Well, unless you were hoping TFF would go back to black and blue. Then, you'll likely love them less, but you'll still love them.

Bottom line? It's very clean, and very wide. There's virtually no clutter, yet we're still keeping things from TFF v.5.0 -- that's why it's called v.5.5. Fuzz has taken more of the ideas from Merlin and myself prior to the version five release, and has incorporated them into this new updated scheme.

Even if you don't like the lighter colors, I'd hope that all of you can appreciate the new design. And if you can't, hey... well, we can't please everyone can we?

Is there any reason the progress level on the index has went down over the last couple of hours? Last I checked, it was at 45%, now its at about 32%.

Haha, well... I don't know. The percentage is just relative anyway.

As of ten minutes ago, 176 pages have been converted to the updated code and layout. That might seem like a large number, but there's still a long way to go.

TFF is a much more extensive site than I think most people realize.

Heh, yeah, I have been doing a lot of re-organizing which means I have found a lot of old pages. The % is back to 42%. I'm not basing the # on how many pages are actually converted, but what the amount of work load completed.

Keep checking, I'm updating it all the time. As cesar said, the site is even more extensive than I even remember, haha

Yeah, plus it does not help Fuzz that I had a lot of content recently to the FFXI section. So he has a lot more pages to convert thanks to me adding to the site. But I know things are getting to close to being finished. Just a matter of time until it is over.

Ah.. okay at first I thought there was some kind of virus in the main website or forum.. Fortunatly, my friend had the link that connected to TFF... *phew* OKay, I'm alright now.. thanks for the announcement.
