Most Moving FF Track
We all know full well that music is as important in Final Fantasy as it is in Star Wars, and then some. There's been a hell of a lot of it all throughout the series, and while some bring special feelings to all fans; such classics as Aeris' Theme (especially in the context of the end of Disc 1) and Suteki Da Ne, there are obviously some tracks that mean more to some than to others. So perhaps it would be beneficial if it was talked about.
Personally I get a great feeling of hope determination, and climax from Judgement Day, the music played in the North Crater at the end of FF VII. It really gives me the feeling that the saga is coming to a close, that the whole conflict will soon be over. Someday The Dream Will End from FF X is a great one too. It's the emotional-sounding remix of Suteki Da Ne that's played when Tidus swims after Sin and when the group make their way into Zanarkand. I just found it incredibly powerful, especially in the latter case, it really gives a sense of the characters' feelings.

I love when new members put threads in the right place.
It makes me feel all tingly inside. ![]() Now, to the topic at hand... undoubtedly, the track of choice for this topic would be the number one choice from my Top 10 thread, FFIX's Burmecian Kingdom. Quote:

The track that moved me the most was "You're not alone" of FF IX. It's on Disc 4 of the Soundtrack.
In the game it is the part where Steiner and Beatrix fight together, side by side, knowing they might die. But as long as they did this valiantly and together, they wouldn't mind. That part of the game is so beautiful, and without the music, you would rip out the feeling of it all. These are the moments I cherish in a Final Fantasy. Makes me feel all warm inside... |

I'd have to say the Prolouge track from Final Fantasy 4. If you read Cecil's lines just right as he stands up on his own to fight Zeromus while it's playing, the music fits SO GOSH DARN WELL. ;-; It makes me want to make a movie on it. *tear*

I think in 8 where Rinoa is looking for Squall is the most moving. I'm not a fan of the part with the lyrics but i like that it goes from a lonly sounding song to a happy theme.

Seto's Theme for sure...
Many music pieces made me sad, but Seto's Theme, almost had me crying... It is very touching, when Red XIII, who thinks his father is some worthless beast, sees how great Seto was, just standing there with the arrows stuck in him and what-not...like a guardian. That is Quality A. |

FFVII's Main theme, on piano. if you beat the game, then turn off all the lights in the house and listen to this song, you will be in tears, most definately.

For some reason I also have a special place in my heart for Weapon Raid, also from FF VII. Lately I've been humming and whistling bits of it every now and then. I could really see the Weapons starring in their own monster movie, accompanied by that music. It could become as iconic as Godzilla's March. ( Can someone get a hold of Square and Toho and convince them to collaborate on this?) It really says power and destruction to me. Top-notch.

I like sad stuff to, but since that's what everyone else posted, I'll bring something different to the table:
I phucking love when Tidus and the gang decide to protect Yuna from Lady Yunalesca, and that music kicks up...gets my adrenaline pumping. Same with when you begin to fight Seymour at Mt. Gagazet... I think FFX makes the moments more memorable because the characters have voices to them...I don't really know why, but it just seems that much more epic to me than moments in other FFs--or maybe I just need to go through them again ^_^;

Voices give you more of an insight into the character's minds. Beforehand you could view a line from any angle you want, but now Kitase's intended reading comes across properly. That's why FF X has way more impact than the previous ones, where all you really had to go on were poses and actions. Of course, the music you speak of adds that extra impact on top of the voices. Great track, well recommended.

FFX was like watching a movie. String all the story sequences together...It'd be about the same length too.
I have quite a few that moved me. The FFX ending had the right music. I cried. Then I had that emotional cleansing that tragedies usually have. I still think they should have kept Tidus as a tragic hero: it would have rocked, but we save that for another day. 1000s Words and the sequence together made me cry too. Another moving song. FFX-Suteki Da Ne is very moving too. The scene it went with made it even more moving.
