The Blair Witch Project.

This is a pretty old film that was majorly overrated...but I saw it yesterday and decided to make this thread.

...Okay, so admittedly, I missed like, 10 minutes in the middle at a bit of a critical moment, but ****... this film was complete bullshit. Screaming students with a ****ing camera? No thanks. The ending was shit too.

****************SPOILER, somewhat...***
"Look at me, I have a camera!!! *gets twatted, dies*"

Maybe I should watch it again, but I don't think I could last through this sissy-ass movie again.

The best part was when the credits came up and I could finally get up and walk back to my computer.

What about you guys? What did you think of this?

Yeah, it was absolute and utter shite if you ask me. The fear factor is non existant in this movie and I just can't understand for the life of me, why people felt it was even remotely scary. I hated the whole real life camera effect they had going. I know it was meant to make it feel more realistic but it just bugged the hell out of me.

But this one was actually still better than the second one. I can't even believe they made a second one but I saw it recently while flipping through the channels. I watched about 2 minutes and said no to that bitch. It was actually worse than the first....unbelievable, I know.

I give this movie (and its terrible sequal) a kick in the ass rather than a thumbs up.

I'll agree, it was pretty bad. But the gothic girl in Blair Witch 2 was really hot. She wanted me.

I said, "You can't have this.". That's exactly what I said to her.

I'll tell you a film worse, okay, I'll tell you two films worse than Blair Witch Project.

1: Meet The Feebles - Mindless, mindless, mindless "comedy" with filming quality horrible enough alone to make me want to hang myself.

2: Romper Stomper - A film that I didn't even know existed until I went over to Enlgand, where it is apparently a big hit (at least in the area I was in). It's some skinhead flick featuring Russell Crowe. All I can really remember is a bunch of Asian guys killing a bunch of skinheads and a bunch of skinheads killing a bunch of Asians. The filming quality was terrible. It was like the camera man's spine was a really loose spring and somebody put a camera in his hands, pushed his upper torso, and then shot Romper Stomper while flailing back and forth.

I really hate Romper Stomper.

Hahaha... A Peter Jackson movie. It was a B movie, so I wouldn't expect much. Muppets on acid, lol...

Oh yeah, BWP sucked ass.

Lol, I remember seeing this movie for the very first time and I was scared shit. Then seeing it again, I was like "wtf?" It's SO bad! X_X I'm doing a monologue based on this movie, so hopefully, I'll do a better job. Lol.

I was kicked out of the cinema for falling asleep.
Despite being told "You didn't miss owt, mate, t'was a fukken wank film", like an idiot I paid to see it again.
This time I managed to stay awake, and left appauled in the knowledge that I had paid twice to see this pile of shit that got FAR too much praise from idiots.

Feebles is fairly funny.

And I only love Romper Stomper because Russel Crowe is god

Blair...witch...*lack of attention span*

Really hyped up, really sucked. A bunch of people wanking on about being lost because they're stupid and then they die. Which was good, but I didn't really want to waste an hour of my life watching it.

I believe it was an hour and forty-five minutes... or something. XD

Sardonic Wrath: oh my ****ing god. You, my ... non-friend, are hilarious. You should get up on stage with that fat bloke Peter Kay and rant at each other. Doubt I'd understand any of what you both said, but it'd still be funny as **** to watch.

We actually paid to see it, well it was when I was younger and when with my parents >_> and umm..it was just..not good enough. It was damn boring and not worth seeing at all, a waste of time, complete crap. The second one was actually better but only because it wasn't by students who didn't know what the hell they were doing.

Blair Witch was in many ways actually a good film. It plays on the viewers emotions, attempting to immerse you in to make you think it actually happened (and in the second one, which was shite, it explained how the tapes got to be viewed after they were all "taken"), and it does it very well. It was an original idea that was completely shunned by all the critics, but i enjoyed it thoroughly

the blair witch project was crap, the only thing that scared me were the sounds they heard in the night:stones being thrown, baby crying...but i was really disappointed with the ending,i mean wtf?u see a guy standing against the corner and then 'whack' the girl dies,i was also told that the second one was even crappier so don't watch it guys.

So..uh, did anyone like this movie? (I've never seen it).
I remember the hype program they had for this film. Something to the order of making a featurette, proclaming the story of BWP being true when it was quite the opposite.

I heard its all completely true........*busts up laughing*
This movie was like Michael Moore's: Farenheit 911 in that all this hype was built up around it and then it runs out it was all a lie and not even that good of one.
