Who do you think is the hardest boss in final fantasy1.

for me it was probably:

origanle: CHAOS
gba remake: doom train

yeah, he is pretty tough, but not as tough as teh warmechs.

in reguards to the original FF1 for NES. Warmech was uber-difficult. basically he NUKED me a new butthole. in the end i was able to win at the expence of all characters other than my redmage who was at 17 health by the end of the battle. however this was from my first playthrough. after that i owned warmech and no enemy was a challenge for me.

Hardest boss?....I dont think I had much trouble with warmech,he never used Nuke on me,guess I was lucky

*I dont really remember having a challenging boss but I do remember encountering an annoying enemy that led me to reset my nintendo a few times...it was Dark wizard found on the ice cavern,thisbitch casts a Poison spell that will instantly kill a whole party!Damn!

I have only played FF 1&2

oS.But none of the bosses ever whipped me and the story was so simple and fresh from all the hi-tech stories that I didnt want to go in the extra dungeons.This was my last levels

Knight:Level 67
Red Wizard:Level 67
Ninja:Level 67
Black Wizard:Level 67

My Red Wizard and my Knight did all the healing so I didnt need a White Wiz.
Just for the record I named my characters after the peeps from KH.Knight-Goofy,Red Wizard-Sora,Ninja-Yuffie,Black Wizard-Donald because I had just beaten KH-the game that started my FF craze.I wanted to know where all these ppl came from!

My party was on level 30 when I wiped out warmech, definately the hardest opponent in the game but no challenge on this level. Chaos was a mere breeze. I played with Knight, Ninja, White & Black Wizard.

OK, in the original game, Warmech was by far the hardest boss. I played with a bunch of different parties, and he always whooped me. (Lv. 50, btw. and 99 in Origins)

In DoS, Omega was definately the hardest. even on lvl 99, he still almost killed me.

Dude...it's been a while, and I may not have trouble with it now, but DAMN do I remember having trouble with nearly every boss in the NES FFI...but the worst thing I imagine is at the end when you have to face the revived fiends...the original fiends did a good job of kicking my ass, but I just didn't stand a chance against the res. versions without leveling up alot...

I would say CHAOS! But then again, there were some others that were really hard. But ill keep my CHAOS opinion

I had the most trouble with KRAKEN It may sound stupid, but I totally sucked. Then there was CHAOS of course. Of course, him being the final boss, it was clear that he was hard. But then, I don't understand the talk about "Warmech being hard". He was (maybe) the easiest boss in the game.

So far I haven't struggled with any bosses, though I am playing the Origins version on easy, the fights have been really agitating to me, considering all up Ive probably been in over 30000 random battles.

So far, on the PS version the hardest boss has been Marilith, but I'm only halfway through the game at the moment.
