What do you think will be the last FF

What do you think will be the last FF game because me and my mates allways ask each other the same question but i allways end up saying i don't think FF will ever end as it's so popular so i was just wondering your oppinion and when you think it'll end.

If you were to ask me i don't think it'll end and well i don't want it to anyway.

Well, Choboco Robo Voice (Found at www.flashplayer.com) makes it clear Se's going to make FFs till the end of time, so... Let's see... It'll stop at about Finsl Fantasy 1500... LOL XD Actually, I think they're never going to stop.

well, i dont see why they should stop yet. final fantasy makes them a lot of money. they make a thousand fianl fantasies, then they make a thousand merchandise for final fantasy. so they probably wont stop final fantasies until people start finding it boring and stop buying it (which is probably not gonna be in my lifetime)

I don't know when is goin to be the last FF but I hope it will never stop producing it...I want my sons,daughters,grandsons etc to play them so that when I die they can tell me the story in heaven...or hell maybe.....

I hope that Final Fantasy series will never end installment-wise, at least during my lifetime. Final Fantasy will hopefully be a continuing saga. Like Lordaeron, if I will ever become a father, I would want my children and grandchildren to play Final Fantasy games.

I Have a feeling that it will end up dying out when dumb game creators take over, like the storyline will suck in time, i don't think they'll ever find a composerlike Nobou, and ya never know what company is gonna take over te FF series, so i think te FF series will die out when people make FF a peice of crap, i mean FFs are getting worse compared to the older ones(like FFX-2 was
a lot worse then like FFIV and FFVI and i even found i liked FFVI over FFX and yes i beat them both)

Why stop a succesful game series? Not for a while in any case.

I don't think they should stop the production of final fantasy, but they may need som new inspiration coz eventually they will run out of ideas... I reckon they should have a some of the publics ideas in the game, that way we will kn ow that what ever they produce will be different to what they had years ago! But why would anyone want to stop such a succesful game? It would be pointless so i say "long live final fantasy!"

I think that one day it is going to be over, more things are going to start comming out and maybe(I hope not)people are no longer going to be interested in FF. It would be a great idea to continue with FF but think about it, but even though FF was one of the best things that happened to me, lots of times infront of the screen to kill a monster and see the love scenes, the crazy scenes...etc. I hope it continues, but I dont think its going to last.

Eventually the creators will run out of things to make each new installment different. Its bound to happen. But that won't stop them from creating different Final Fantasies from the mainstream (I.E Tactics, Crystal Chronicals) those games still open up the longitivity.

They actually said Kingdom Hearts won't be like Final Fantasy. When Sora's story ends, the games end. I like that. But even then Final Fantasy is the Number 1 RPG in Japan (With Dragon Warrior and then the "Tales of" series in 2nd and 3rd). I think they'll milk it for all they're worth.

Actually if you think of it, the reach to the Tactis realm for Final Fantasy 12 might signify its ending life. To use another branch of the FF series for source matierial might mean something on a development side. Then again it probably just was used to fully give us the best view of the tactics realm, capturing fans of both FF and FFT.

But even Square said the next Final Fantasy on PS3 might not be Final Fantasy 13 (I'll find the article if it isn't lost to archives of news). This might hint that they'll create a new series (much like Final Fantasy Tatics and Crystal Chronicals are different Final Fantasy Series). Square said Xbox 360 might get a series of its own like that.

All in all I hope the FF series remains worthwhile to play. If it fades, I'll be sad. =(

Well, the Final Fantasy series has effectivly become the milestones of the video game industry. Game graphics can all be losely compared to the the final fantasy game of the same era... so in that sense it's somewhat important that the game continues... which it will, so long as there is a market in it.

As for an end... well, like all good thing, an end will come. I think that Final Fantasys 'angel of death' will probably come in the form of some kind of 'super rpg'. It would have to be a revoultionary concept and it would have to take the world by storm... but it could happen.

Also, thus far Final Fanatsy has maintained a very high standard with all it's games. So long as this continues, it will be to Squares Credit and well help ensure the games survival. But if this were to slip... well... even the die hard fans would probably have trouble keeping the faith after 2-3 substandard releases.

But all in all, I would like to see at least 99 Final Fantasys. It just seems like an appropriate number, don't you think? lol

I hope it dosn't end in my life time, I suppose. Once I'm dead.... well...... I'll just put all the games in a time-capsual and leave them for future generations lol. ^_^

Final Fantasy is my life also. Square Enix purchased Final Fantasy trademarks up to Final Fantasy XV. We still do not know where Final Fantasy is going. I think there will probably be at least 96 Final Fantasy games (reaching Final Fantasy XCVI), but I may not be living at the time that goal is reached. That would be my grandson's Final Fantasy.

true. the only thing i hope is, for that when i am dead and gone, that my kids, and there kids's kids will keep on with hte tradition that my dad has started with me. to keep playing till there is no more final fantasy games to be played.
