What is Kuja?

What do you think Kuja is? I think it's a he/she.... The game keeps calling it a "he"... But "he" just looks to "pretty" to be a dude. That was a big downfall of the game. The villains are supposed to be bad a**es... But this guy was a "flamer"... Such a shame too... I realy liked this game.

Kuja's male. Also, he's really no different from Sephiroth or Seymour in that regard. Sure, maybe Sephy was a bit more badass, but his character model was still quite feminine. And Seymour (personal opinion ahead) was way less badass than Kuja, and looked even more like a woman.

Now, whether anyone else wants to say anything regarding Kuja...

Kuja is how you say miss-understood. Yes I agree he was more femimine but he was still how you say "evil" and "miss-understood".

I always thought Kuja was a man, aren't he and Zidane the equivalent of brothers? I thought Garland said something about him creating Kuja, and then creating Zidane to replace him 'as the new angel of death', didn't he?

i haven't played FFIX in a while...

anyway kuja is definatly a guy, although he is wearing well not much i guess lol
its typical japanese, the males always look femimine! lol

also i think your right fire exit man! zidane was created to be better than kuja, thats why he was different from the other created people ( i forget what they are called) ?

zidane looked just like the other "genomes" especially when touring Bran Bal..unless you mean about just plain ability/power...cause after the scene with him and Garland and a tunnel of angst there's a bridge to be activated by avoiding the blue light that is harmful to every genome..but Kuja's the one that dyed his hair and dressed up so..to be different than the others..but yeah Kuja's male for sure...it's just like everyone's saying just with that feminine guise that asians are known for anyway..

oh and i was referring to zidanes power!?
but i guess your write about kuja being the one for dressing differently, but zidane didnt know who he was he didnt see anyone else who looked like him!

Kuja looks different than the other genomes because he IS different from them...he in fact was created looking the way he does (well, maybe not his "clothes", but the reddish eyelid and silver hair). But being the "failure blueprint" , his follow-up, namely Zidane, was created with normal Genome looks again.
Or to make it short, Garland wanted to try something new with his first Angel of Death, but then was dissatisfied with the outcome and returned to the old style for his second and third.

(for topic authenticity): Kuja is male...imo..no really he is lol.

ok..yeah..genomes are the vessels on terra that the souls of terra were supposed to reinhabit when Terra was supposed to be revived by the cycling of souls from Gaia to Terra...that Kuja was supposed to catylize(catilyze? whatever..) by creating war and death and more soul input into...well..the lifestream lets say..they had a model of this in Bran Bal and full description but can't remember if they called it lifestream..just using it even though sounds like FFVII...ANYWAY.....umm...Thaliel pretty much sums up Garlands (the overseer of Terra) plan to revive Terra w/Kuja and Zidane. can't remember what blue light was that was harmful to genomes though...think it's just the lifestream's essence...part of the process of the souls assuming their vessels much like death is in reality..it hurts but even though we don't know what happens in real life it's the closest theory we have..reincarnation or afterlife.
