[Red XIV]

Hojo slowly paced the walkway. Below SOLDIERs were searching the Nibleheim reactor. They had found one SOLDIER, wounded, and a grunt, also wounded. The SOLDIERs had taken the body out of the reactor and put them in the pile of other townspeople in Nibleheim. Hojo had special plans for these people... a plan to create a new Sephiroth. Yes, Sephiroth was missing; possibly killed, but using Jenova's cells he could create a new ultimate warrior. Jenova, the "crisis from the sky" as the Cetra called it, would be transported to the Shinra HQ, for further research. Hojo just hoped that the idiot of a president wouldn't screw anything up.

Hojo climbed down the ladder and walked across the walkway, stepping over a dead body of an old man. Inside the man reactor, he looked at his specimens. Mako was used to create these monsters, like SOLDIER and Sephiroth himself...Unknown to anyone else, Hojo himself had injected himself with Mako. Well, Hojo walked further up the steps, leading to Jenova's holding tank. Two SOLDIERs moved as Hojo walked through. Inside, Jenova was clearly in view, Sephiroth destroying some of Jenova's panel. He walked up to the body. It was purple and the head was strangely distorted. Th of the creature was also greatly deformed.
"Gast used Jenova wrongly", Hojo thought. Hojo had his own plans for Jenova. "Get Jenova out of here now!" Hojo yelled at his troops. They came in with tools to remove the delicate creature. "Careful, careful," Hojo whispered as the took the container out of the room and hoisted it out of the reactor, into the large transport copter waiting outside.
"Proffesor, are you coming?" the pilot asked. Hojo shook his head.
"No, I will stay here to conitinue research," Hojo said quietly. "I have some work left to do," And with that, the transport helicopter flew off, towards Midgar. The helicopter flew to Midgar, passing over a fight between rebels and the Shinra, a couple miles away from Midgar. Finally, the copter landed at Shinra HQ.

As Rufus was blasting some Rebels he saw a Shinra helicopter fly overhead. "Seems like Hojo made it to HQ." He said as he shoot some more Rebels. Reno was killing Rebel left to right. The Rebels feeling bad brought in two robots to beat them. Rufus loaded four explosive rounds into his shotgun and took out each robot. "Do you really you were going to win" Reno said as the Rebel ran away. An hour later Reno and Rufus made it back to HQ to see what Hojo was carring. Rufus walked up to Hojo and said "What ya got there?" He flicked his hair as he talked to Hojo.

Hojo muttered under his breath.
"You imbecile!!!" Hojo yelled "Do you not know of Jenova?" Hojo sighed. "Well, I wouldn't expect wonders from the likes of you," Hojo said at length. Rufus just stood there taking what criticism Hojo dealt out, which he dealt quite often.
"Alright Hojo, just tell me what the damn thing is," Rufus said calmly. Hojo began to mutter incoherently.
"Jenova...Lifestream...Proffesor Gast...Lucrecia...Sephiroth..." Hojo babbled.
At the sound of Sephiroth, Rufus' head perked up.
"Sephiroth?!?" Rufus gasped. Hojo, feeling as if Rufus was especially stupid today, started to explain.
"Yes, Sephiroth was created from Jenova here's cells," Hojo explained. "We used a scientist, Lucrecia, from Shinra to house Jenova's cells and birthed Sephiroth from her, although, sadly, we no longer no of her whearabouts, but that doesn't matter, but what does matter is that now Sephiroth is dead..." Rufus looked confused.
"Dead, really?" Rufus muttered. "How?"
Hojo answered happily.
"A Shinra grunt threw him off a catwalk in the Nibelheim reactor on a routine mission. Sephiroth went insane and burned the city down," Hojo, looked backed to his notes and walked away as Rufus stood there, straight as a board.
"Sephiroth, dead?" Rufus muttered. "I must tell Father!" and with that Rufus walked up the steps to the top floor.

(Sorry if I made Rufus sound like an idiot, Zell.)

Mercito heading downstairs after being debriefed and placed under hojo's supervision was bumped by someone going upstairs in quite a hurry. "watch it!" as he was shoulderd out of the way, he didnt even turn to pay mercutio a second thought. He finally found his room and enterd with excitment. "Professor hojo!, Mercutio H. reporting!" hojo didnt even turn, he sees its becoming a habit here, hojo mumbled something and continued working, after 5 or 6 minutes of standing erect and saluting his hand dropped and he beccame restless, "damn, so much stuff" his eye wandered and his feet followed as he walked around the room poking at the things he'd never seen before.
