first seymour battle

i've been told this fight was supposed to be really hard, but i found it exceedingly easy. am i leveling up too fast? does any one know if monsters level up w/ you or are they on set difficulty levels. I hate it when every thing is waaaaaaay too easy, what fun is a video game if you cant curse out your T.V. ?

no that one is quite easy the one you have to look out for is a gagzet

i'll say no more on the subject. I don't think the monsters level up with you they just get harder as you progress forther like the ones on mi hen highroad would be stronger then the ones in besaid. Also i agree on the whole cursing thing so long as it's not for too long or i'll start shouting at my family if the enter my room

i've done that too, it sucks wgen the kids come in and start asking, 'what is that, who is he, how do you say his name?' you cant scream at them but inside you're yelling SHUT

Well, for me it was difficult until i learned about nulfrost/shock,blaze/tide thing then i beat it with almost no effort. The hardest part was Anima when I knew what to do. yeah, well as posted 2 before me, Seymour on gagazet (#3) was evil, was so hard to defeat because of his evil zombie attack(lance fo atropy) and full-life combo

Yeah I agree with yunie.Difficulty should be somewhere between Moderate and Expert.Seymour 1 was the easiest thing I ever met I had Kimahri use Scan then saw that u had to remember the order of the spells then counter them right b4 he hit u with them with Nul spells.Luckilly for me I was playing the fool with Rikku and got Mega Null All lol.Anima was easy to beat just make sure u use and Aeon when the Overdrive gauge is full or u will die 4 sho.Then when he came back I decided to show him what my summoner can do then I saw this ??? and yuh kno how I curious,summoned it only to realize it was my fav summon Shiva!Well I kicked the remains of his butt with style!

all enimies stay at the same level as they are when you first see them i know this because i recently went back to besaid and the fiends were still as weak as they were in the beginning

I found Seymour kind of difficult the first time around lol. I think it was because I had no idea on what I was doing. I didn't realise that I could use Shiva to defeat Anima. I found him more difficult than Seymour. It took me a couple of times to defeat him overall. I thought he was most difficult on Mt. Gagazet as well. Ugh, he drives me insane!
