Tsiiri is a n00b - (lv 0)
Fav SNES Game

Simple enough, what is your favorite SNES game?

Mine is a tie between Tales of Phantasia, Gundam Wing: Endless Duel, and Earthbound.

They were all just really cool to play.

I think there were some more but I can't recall. Perhaps I'll add some later.

Btw, Mario is an asshole.

Easy is Chrono Trigger. Then I would have to go with either one of these, Final Fantasy II or III. Those games honestly took me so long to play and were so enjoyable. Chrono Trigger was just one of the best games ever made, period.

Chrono Trigger beats every other game on that console by a landslide. Easily one of the best rpg's ever.

Wizardry > Chrono Trigger. I stand by my decision.

Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Lufia, F-Zero.. all of these are good games. But Wizardry is impossible. It has no graphics, barely any storyline, the difficulty level is through the roof.. yet it still manages to be an awesome game.

Every other game on SNES was easy, Wizardry is not.

Lame. Lame lame lame.

The greatest SNES game, let alone the greatest videogame of all time, is Uniracers. Hands down. No argument. If you've ever played it, you'd know why. If you haven't, FIND A COPY BEFORE A BUS LANDS ON YOUR FACE!!! (Or get a ROM.)

Finla Fantasy II (IV) Final Fantasy III (VI) Secret of Mana, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Mario World would be amongst my favorite SNES games.

As well as Rock 'n Roll Racing and F-Zero. But those are just biased choices because of the time I played when I was younger playing them.

Chrono Trigger is a classic and Secret Of Mana is up there. But, hands down Super Metroid is the best of the series and my personal favorite game for the SNES. Oh yeah, you have to rep. Uniracers.

While 7 Stars is GREAT, Final Fantasy IV and VI > Mario 7 Stars. =P

Hmmm...really? Then how about...

Eye of the Beholder > Wizardry

Other than that...I do not have a particular fav game. I can recall some: let's see...Secret of Evermore, Breath of Fire 2, Lufia, Super Metroid, almost all Super Mario (except educationals), Star Fox, the aforementioned Wizardry and Eye of the Beholder, Dungeon Master, etc, etc, etc...

But, when really memorable games come to mind, I remember:
--Civilization: never had a chance to play it on console. Yet, I can't believe I managed to stay awake so long for a game ever in my life. And boy, do I have all-nighters (especially on Blockbuster-rented games)
--Lagoon: I can recall this was the first game that actually forced me to look for info on it. I didn't find info on it until like 8-10 years later. Killer intro, and hard bosses. And the best item on any game, hands down.
--Ultima: The False Prophet: took me some time to mature and understand the game. Excellent story.
--Final Fantasy 6: not exactly the game that made me an RPGer, but definitely the most memorable. Still haven't finished it.
--Zelda: A Link to the Past: I thank this game for 3 reasons: it made me an RPG fan in some way, it made me have a great imagination, and it taught me English. And some people say videogames can't teach you anything...

Eye of the Beholder was a great game, but it was reasonably short compared to Wizardry. I wasn't a big fan of the character portraits either, I ended up using the same ones over and over again because there were only a few good ones. It also tended to be very slow, whereas in Wizardry it was easy to play for thirty minutes, quit and just leave within five seconds. Wizardry was also a helluva lot more puzzling.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past

I'm a classic Zelda fanboy. Although, I was introduced to the series by Ocarina of Time, my dad popped out his dusty copy of ALtTP and let me have it and I was in love with it, even after falling in love with OoT. There is a lot of fun in that little cartridge and it makes me feel warm inside thinking about it.
