FF on 360!

I heard that the remake of FFVII is going to be done on Xbox 360. Also, Square-Enix is going to put the classic games(I-VI) on 360.

Not sure where you heard this from, but its incorrect;

FF1,2 (and soon 3 and 4) are already done for the GBA, and PSOne (FF Origins)
FF4,5,6 were released onto the PSOne almost 2-3 years ago, maybe more, I forget.
FF11 was scrapped for the 360, I believe.

Unless you've got some source for your claim.

SquareEnix will never re-release FF1-6 AGAIN when they've already done it once, save for the plans they have of releasing FFIII on the DS and FFIV on the GBA.

Not to mention they've already said that if FFVII WERE to be remade it would be for the Playstation 3 and would be 4-5 years away, but have yet to even confirm a remake.

Add to it that SquareEnix hasn't confimed they're doing ANYTHING, much less a Final Fantasy game, with Microsoft.

Not to mention, FFXI is one of the launch titles for XBox 360 or at least set for release shortly after launch, far from being scrapped.

And I wouldn't shut out the idea of the SNES games being remixed somehow with the Revolution on the way.

If Square decides to take their Xbox 360 venture further than Final Fantasy XI, it will probably be another online project. Xbox Live is a big success where as Sony's PS2 online gaming never really took off, so I can imagine them doing an online game for 360.

I heard it from a freind who heard it on G4.
By the way, Square-Enix is still going to remake it on the PS3. They are also remaking FFVIII. Each game is going to be a 2-disk set. The first disk will contain the remake and the second disk will contain the original. I wouldn't have posted this if it wasn't official.

Haven't heard anything about it and if it was official then surely there would be something about it on SE's website...

I've just looked on G4tv.com and gamespot, but could not find anything.
It is possible that Square-Enix told this to G4 but has not officially announced it to the world yet.

My freind says there are screenshots and trailers of the 360 version on Square-Enix's Japanese website. I cannot read Japanese so I am having trouble finding them

Xbox 360 is Final Fantasy 11. Square said another Final Fantasy Franchise will be on 360 at E3.

Basically like Nintendo has the Crystal Chronicals Series, Xbox owners may be able to look towards their own Final Fantasy series. Here is to hoping another online.

As for 7 being remade, lets set things straight. Someone at Sony said that if 7 was remade on PS3 (which might be an option.) it would take 3-4 years with a staff of 500. This is bullshit. If that were true, Sony would not know how to make video games.

7 is NOT being remade as of yet. They haven't even announced what they plan to do with the PS3 final Fantasies (whether it be a FF 13 or a new series A la Crystal Chronicals)

Crystal Chronicals DS and Revolution have been announced but with no release date.

Kyle Shidair, I do not believe that person from Sony is saying. The majority do not either. It is impossible for it to be true, that a Final Fantasy VII remake would take 3 or 4 years to make and a staff of 500. A Final Fantasy VII remake is already in popular demand. The original version is designed for standard-definition television screens. It does not look good on high-definition screens. I believe what Kirutshu18 is saying.

If Final Fantasy X were remade, it will be remade for PS4 alongside Final Fantasy X-2. The remakes of Final Fantasy X and X-2 will be based on the International versions. A new orchestral arrangement of To Zanarkand may be played in the credits after the orchestral version of Suteki Da Ne, since the credits will be changed to reflect the remake. However, I am not hoping for a Final Fantasy X or X-2 remake.
