Stone of Ayia
All he could hear was the repeating buzzing sound next to his ear. He slowly opened his eyes. First, a blurred vision approached his eyes, then finally a distintive red wall. He rolled over on his Deluxe mattress, only to find a small wooden alarm clock, flashing and buzzing. He thought a moment, then quickly slammed the alarm clock. The ringing in his ears had finally disappeard. Great, he though. Same shit, different day. Or so he thought.
He rolled off his mattress onto the floor. The ice cold floor, felt good on his back he decided. He lay there a moment. What day is it, he thought. Thursday, just great. He always hated Thursdays. It was the day, he sat around and looked at paper all day, he didn't do anything exciting. He looked at the clock again. It read 10:04 AM.
He slowly got to his feet and headed over to his closet, only to find nothing clean. "Oh well, i'll just wear something dirty." he said aloud. He threw on his white button down shirt, black executive pants, black nike socks, and of course, the most expensive pair of shoes in the world, Prima Scotre.
He looked back at his unmade bed, then around the room. "I need to get something else in this room besides a mattress and clock." he finally decided. He grabbed his keys from his leather jacket that was laying on the floor and exited his apartment.
He lived in Jampelo, the smallest city in the world of Martyr. It was a fascinating place, despite its petite size. It held the one thing, no one else in the world had, the stone of Ayia. The stone had the power to control the world, but it was locked and buried in one of the largest catacombs ever made.
As Edge exited his appartment on the 8th floor, he could hear Old Man Faith yelling. "Whats the matter Faith?" He politly asked.
"Ah nothing, just can't find me glass eye anywheres!"
Old Man Faith happened to be a unique individual. Before he became an old man, he was the heftiest pirate ever, until his eye was pried out with a Old Rusted dagger. Ever since, hes been living as old as they come.
"Haha, well I'm sorry Old Man Faith. Good luck on finding that!"
