BoD v. SotM -- AttilaLodbrok challenging Atma-Noah

Same as usual. Be sure your characters are posted; if you want new ones, post new ones. ^_^;; Anywho, enjoy the fight. Maybe this one will make some progress?

[Atma-Noah]

The shade of a man that had once fought side by side with those like himself who could not classify themselves as good or evil but as Soldiers of the Moderate. He oblivious to his legendary past looked at his surroundings in a stoic like nature. The remnants of a town lay out before him. Destruction had beaten him to this place. As it had many others. The dark clouds he had been following for a time led him to each ruin. Looking at the cursed sword by his side he thought of what might be laying this path out for him. Alas neither fear nor excitement comforted him.

"It seems that I must be catching up to whatever is before me." Kurt said gazing at the clouds which he almost rested under. He began to walk forward when the clouds caught his eye. The clouds had begun drawing closer. It would seem whatever he was following had turned around and was heading for him. Kurt stood there in the middle of the wreckage looking forward at whatever was coming his way. The dark clouds slowly engulfing the sun that had shined on him.

As the clouds grew closer Kurt took a defensive stance. His sword drawn, its tip touching the ground before him.

(((OCC:I'll just use my old character but since I can't update the charcter since the NecroWeasel account is banned I will do it here: The Weapon weilded by Surtur is a Zweihander type sword.Its still a legendary unholy sword weilded called "Gram" I just want to specify the type of blade)))

Surtur smelled the blood of his recently slain foes and the smoke of the burning wrecked and smile. His eyes glowed bloodred as he laughed, quite pleased at all of the destruction.

"This was too easy, I need real opponents but the blood of weaklings still tastes sweet" said surtur his mouth dripping with blood."Who says that the vampires get to have all the fun, Dissaor was right there is nothing sweeter than blood".

Surtur laughed and then he spoted a villager trying to flee the carnage. "What do we have here? A SURVIVOR!!!!! FRESH BLOOD!!!!!!!" Surtur charges at the villager who then breaks into a run. "THERE IS NO ESCAPE!!!!!!!!" Surtur then overtook the villager and sliced him in half with one stroke of his massive Zweihander and licked the blood off of his sword.

"Ahhhhhhhh nothing so sweet................Wait a minute it seems that someone is coming to interrupt me" Surtur said as he sensed the presence of Kurt Ronan. Kurt walked into view and Surtur smiled as he drew closer.

Finally a really a real oponent thought Surtur as Kurt came into earshot."Halt Stranger, I am Surtur, Warrior of the Brotherhood of Doom. I don't know who you are but I am under orders to kill everyone in this village and anyone outside of the Brotherhood who happens to find their way here. I don't know who you are but I do know you are one of the grey ones who oppose the Brotherhood and thus you must die. Fight me and I will end your wretched life quickly, Run and I will kill you slowly. WILL YOU FIGHT ME GREY ONE??!!!" Asked Surtur as he adopted a fighting stance. I'm gonna have fun tearing his limbs off.

[Atma-Noah]

Kurt stared blankly at Surtur as he challenged him. "WILL YOU FIGHT ME GREY ONE??" The words rang in Kurt's ears. Lifting up his blade he pointed the tip towards his opponent. "It's good to finally put a face to the one who has been causing this destruction. I'll accept your challenge Surtur. So let us begin this battle."

Kurt's blank stare went unchanged but he made the first move. Shifting his right foot to the right his arm followed suit bringing his blade behind him. Bursting forth he charged towards Surtur. Drawing close to Surtur he launched his attack. Swinging the sword diagonally upwards hoping to slash Surturs chest. Then retreating back into his defensive stance.

As Kurt swung at Surtur's armored Chest, Surtur brought his Zweihander down and it clashed against Kurt sword. Kurt retreated, adopting a defensive stance. Surtur adopted the Ochs stance that he picked up in Germany.

"hahahahahahahahaha, come on, I know your not fighting your hardest, and I don't like it when people hold back, it makes things boring. Now, SHOW ME WHAT KIND OF MAN YOU ARE!!!!!" Screamed Surtur as he charged at Kurt swing his sword downwards from the left.

[Atma-Noah]

Kurt just watched Surtur charge towards him. No expression on his face nor a gleam in his eyes. Just that bland blank stare.

As Surtur launched his attack Kurt dodged to the left but Surtur's attack was wide and clipped Kurt in the left shoulder on the way down. The impact spun Kurt around slightly, Kurt followed through and spun all the way around. When he almost completed the turn he used the momentum to launch a kick towards the behemoths face. Kurt's sword followed suit and he brought it down vertically on his opponent.

The sloppy landing from the kick put Kurt on his knees in between his sword and Surtur. Quickly slicing upward he raised to his feet. The attack put Kurt in his familiar offensive stance. Spinning his sword once in his palm Kurt charged the Lethe.

"Well Surtur you asked to see what kind of man I am. All I can do is accept the request." The emotionless Kurt answered slashing towards the ground. A wide shockwave rippled from the blade tearing up the earth as it made it's way to Surtur. "Surtur my blade is calling for it's twin. Tis a shame you are not the owner." Kurt hollered over the sound of the earth being tore apart. A small red patch on Kurt's left shoulder had begun to soak through his grey muscle shirt.

[Faustus]

Surtur knew he could not possibly jump high enough to dodge the shockwave so he braced for impact. The shockwave knocked Surtur back several feet and also knocked him onto his back and he landed with a sickening thud. The force of Surtur impacting the ground made and inpression in the hard cold earth. Surtur just layed there, motionless and seemingly unconcious.

Suddenly without warning Surtur quickly got onto feat and slung his sword over his armored shoulder. Grinning Surtur spoke "Thats an interesting attack you have there mortal, very inpressive you actually managed to hurt me, something no man has ever done since I began unlife".Surtur removed his helmet which had been cracked by Kurt's attack and threw it aside and his dirt black hair unfurled in the wind like a greasy flag. "Since you used the earth the one thing I cannot escape against me, it would only be fair that I show you what I can do with the cold earth".

Surtur's eyes glowed bright red as he screamed and thrust his sword into the ground. The Runes on the sword began to glow a bright dark blue and wispering could be heard from the blade and the earth as a fog descended upon the battlefield.Surtur stood there motionless seemingly rooted to the spot when unexpectedly the sounds of horse's hooves could suddenly be heard as three ghostly rider's charged at Kurt.

[Atma-Noah]

"This is powerful magic...." Kurt said trying to make out what was in the fog. He could here the hooves and the neighs from horses. He could tell how many though. He said holding the Lethe into the air. "O fateful sword. Grant me power....even at the cost of my own life." Kurt's words seemed to pierce through the fog.

The blade had begun to glow a soft green, illuminating the area around Kurt. Two of the riders winced when they came into the light. Kurt's body started to move in place faster and faster. He body jolted in and out of place. Tightening his grip around the blade Kurt bolted forward straight through one of the riders at an remarkable speed. The glow of the blade made a line as Kurt moved forward.

As Kurt moved in closer to the planted Surtur. He thrusted his blade forward towards a joint in Surtur's armour hoping to loosening it. Then he using he blade as leverage he placed his right foot onto the flat of the blade and spun off dragging his left foot behind him hoping to land a blow on the now unarmoured head of Surtur. Landing from the attack Kurt danced his blade in his hand while his body began to slow down.
