[Kaitou]

First thing, this RP is for Light Club members only, sorry. Also, Light Club members, your characters will start with the basic equipment of the class you selected. Your character can acquire more equipment and items within the RP. I'll keep all the character information in this first post and update it frequently.

I'm not too familiar with the classes Suzu and TGO created, so ask them any questions you may have regarding the class system and equipment... I need to ask them a few questions myself.

As voted for, the RP will be based on biweekly events. Every two weeks, a new event will began and the old one will end. The winner of each event gains a special item, and participants get a small participation prize.

Also, if you need to discuss RP stuff, do it in this thread rather in the RP or club. When you sign up, provide any alternate character name, class, etc. I'm pretty sure Suzu and TGO are signed up, so I'll put up their current character info.

Ok, finally had a chance to get to use a computer. Guess I'll be staying a bit more on the library's PCs. I'll try to post as often as I can, and that's saying a lot. Anyways, this is a great way to introduce character classes, seeing them in action. Anyone wanting to join, post your class and I'll tell the weapons and armor you may wear, besides a swift explanation of the class itself. Though, by noticing the RP rules, I guess Blue Mage Expert class is banned under any circumstance, until I can find a way to introduce it. Also, remember, no unblockable attacks, no superdodging/superblocking, no Blue Magic, and no Control opponent.

So, going for the character stats:

Weapon: Holy Bastard Sword (a typical bastard sword, engraved with holy symbols, and coated with silver.)

Ok, that's good. I won't have a character though, since I'll mostly be controlling monsters, NPCs, and such. One thing though, I need your character's class and equipment as well, if you plan to participate. It would be great if you could, I kinda assumed you were going to already.

EDIT: Ok, got the character statistics. Using your character as a good example for future sign-ups, equipment should be 'standard', with maybe a few personal items (usually useless) here and there.

Thanks. But remember, your equipment has to be 'standard' according to your class. If you pick an axe-weilder for example, you can't have a bow and robe. Don't pick your weapon and armor yet until you decide your class. Oh, and no items =P

Hmmm...that depends. Do you like strong based attacks and heavy armor, or lighter armor and speed based attacks. If you like heavy armor and power, go Knight class. They can equip swords, axes, maces, hammers and spears, and heavy armor (think those full plated armors and stuff). If you want speed, go Samurai. They can use swords, axes and spears; besides, they are the only ones that can use katanas, naginatas and Japanese weapons.

I presume you might want to take a look at the Samurai class. It eventually ends in Swordmaster, which may be what you are looking for. I noticed you have barely little armor on, thus you may favor speed over power.

Well I'm starting out small until I work up into heavy armor, if you read my character statistic it has some heavy armor. Well it's obvious that I'm not a samurai since I'm carrying a broad sword, I don't think I'm going to be using axes, maces, hammers and spears.

Just pick any class with swords. If you don't want to equip the standard armor of your selected class, then feel free to wear some casual outfit. The class should just define compatibilities with equipment and stats.

Ok, that means you should go Knight, Suzu. Heavy armor and heavy swords are more typical of a Knight. But, if it helps...

Visualize the classes by their FF equivalents (that helped me a lot on class making): Knight as the FFT Knight class, Defender as the FFTA Defender class, Samurai as the FF5 Samurai class, Dragoon as the typical FF Dragoon, and Crusader as FFT's Divine Knight. Maybe that will help you see it better. Though I wonder, does the mods allow weapon and armor sundering? I dunno, but I feel they may determine sundering as godmodding. So do grabbing, wrestling moves, and tripping the opponent. Also, if by any reason you have played the Saga series, most of the moves are based on Saga techniques. Choose what you like. Oh, and remember: Samurai are considered to be good with any sword class-wise, not just katanas. Holding a broadsword would be a bit weird, but still allowed. Or, if you want, you may RP gaining proficiency with another weapon (say, bows), if another class wishes to teach you. Kaitou, what do you think of that?

Good idea, we could do that. I'm not sure if we can have much interaction during events, but if an event is completed early, character interaction can exist in the time left over.

Once you finish all of your character statistics, be sure to post in the actual RP. It's been inactive for quite a while and ends around the 29th. Hopefully we can get more members, but two's enough.

Description: Hair is spiked up in headband, his robe and pants are not baggy on his body, they are stapped to his legs and body with white cloth belts. his mom gave him the cross necklace as she passed away so its close to his heart.

Umm, a bit too powerful to begin with. Holy Katana's good, as with the Holy Robe. I don't think you can keep those accessories though =P
Also, just pick one class. Don't combine two. Maybe just Paladin? As discussed earlier, you can have a Samurai teach you his skills later.

A personal item with no real effect? Yeah, sure. Suzu's got sunglasses and TGO's got battle glasses. Your character will find accessories and other equipment during the events.
