What do you think of Yuna

This a question that I dedcided to make when I saw "What do you think about Tidus" hope you dont mind.

I think that Yuna was a great character and really nice girl, the fact that she was going to become a summoner and die was very sad. When I saw the sphere that Tidus heard in Zanarkand I wanted to cry, it was really sad, she has great feelings about tohers and I could notice that she cares about them. She was my favourite character(female) in FFX. I really think that she was really cool

i would say she is ok but she ended up different and alright in the end she learned that from rikku (crazy monkey girl) i think and this forum is cool also she is cool by spheredress sequences also i like the mascot YUNA THE BEST xD

back on the question, i think yuna's a great character because you can see her transformation from being an unsure/weak character to a strong one. she's kind and always willing to sacrifice herself for the benefit of others. she's also been through a lot, but she kept her pain inside and became more determined because of it. there's only one thing i didn't like about her in FFX, and that's her voice acting. it is lacking in emotion, there's accentuating in wrong places, and i hated the unnecessary and frequent pauses most of the time. but apart from that, she's perfect.

She was a pretty cool character, the fact that she cares about her friends like that, and her friends put their lives on the line for her....her relationship with them is like what true friendship shuld be. Shes also really nice, and she does chance throughout the story like Huntress stated. It shows the journey with her friends and shows how much things can change when you have friends beside you.

Yuna's okay. I like her personality and everything about her. Being friendly to everyone and caring for them. I like her a lot in FFX.

I like Yuna for her sheer stubborness, her inability to give up. Its an attribute I wish I had; the power to say 'I think I am doing the right thing. You cannot stop me,' and stick to it is a great characteristic.

Its also nice to see her change into a more open-minded character whilst still maintaining her steel. She was one of my favourites, no doubt about it.

I guess you are a 100% right. She was very brave and she was not afraid to say what she's thinking

Yuna's a cool character, one of my favourite. But I like her in FFX more than in FFX-2. FFx had more depth and passion.

Um Auron,I agree with you that you think that she has more depth in FFX and I agree with you(although I havent play FFX-2 yet).But she has this annoying attitude though.I'm perfect,I'm a summoner,I am so selfless,I would give my virgin life up to save Spira.Hell let Dona die.Yuna is too nice to(think she would have) have died.I think that ur a guy,so don't u think the X-2 Yuna would be cooler to be around.No long dress to trip on,no more weak Yuna.She rocks in X-2.From staff to gun.What an improvement.WHo would have thought that the would see Yuna(no,Holy Yuna) in shorts with 2 killer guns!?I would have liked the FFX-2 Yuna was bette although her calm demure was also really nice.But seriously,I'm glad Tidus kissed the bitchDon't you think she loosened up after that.Whoops sorry I took so long with that post.It's 1 liners that make threads close!

dragon knight: her FFX dress wasnt too long. lulu has the longer dress and if there'd be someone who would prolly trip, it'd be her. i love her FFX costume as it was very Japanese and looked really cute on her. attitude-wise, she was better in X-2. the new costume was nice too, but being a summoner is better than mere spherehunting. and i'd rather use a staff and summon cool aeons than shoot guns and look for stupid, blurry spheres.

Maybe you are right, I agree with Dragon Knight, she was a really awesome character in FFX-2, Im not saying I didnt like her in FFX, but she was sometimes annoying(once or twice in the whole game, dont get me wrong), and now I think she is very cool, besides, the spheres are something fun to do, you go and look for clues, and you fight against the dark aeons, you now know about the past, and about Lenne and Shuyin. In FFX, I think Yuna was so quiet, in FFX-2 she is more like Rikku now(better in my opinion)

Lenne: if u read my post clearly, i did say that personality-wise, I preferred her in FFX-2. i never said that i loved how she was like in X or that I particularly preferred her in that game. also, i didnt find anything fun in spherehunting. it's a normal, okay job w/c can be done by anyone in spira. calling fayths and summoning aeons are different as only a handful are worthy of doing that job and is way cooler. also, since aeons have been around for a long time, i think they also know a lot about spira's history and would provide good knowledge.

i liked yuna both in ffx and x-2. i liked her personality better in x-2, but her costume and job in ffx.

Krystle my dear u are (maybe) mistaken.Ever since I played FFT:A I always said,"Wow,wouldn't it be cool if our world turned into a FF world and I was a cool male summoner(u know that stigma about girls being summoners)".U said that calling fayths and summoning aeons is cooler than looking for blurry spheres and using guns.Buuuuut arent u forgeting that in this game if u were a summoner and defeated Sin u would also die and Sin would be reborn.Would u really give your life to do such a thing when there are others who will do it(Isaruu,Dona,a few others)?Then that would be stupid.A race to see who can die first?!I don't think so.As for,me I would gladly wear Jecht's clothes and use two cool guns,look for spheres and have fun with 2 other pals of mine.Note that I am not criticising ur opinion,just adding some light.

PS come to think of it,how come Jecht and Yuna wear almost the same clothes you know.The piece of cloth lagging on the side a pair of shorts and something neat for a shirt (well he has da tatoo).

Wow... who would have thought that this would turn into comparing Yuna's character in both parts? Interesting perspectives, everyone. Let me first reply to Dragon KnightKJ and correct your notion about me. I am not a guy as you said (although my nickname would allow others to assume that). I think that I have to clarrify that I chose my nickname simply because of my obsession with the wonderful Auron. So, my opinions about Yuna are stricktly my own/girly thoughts. I apologize if my name has lead you to think otherwise.
