I think the abilites you get in this game is cool, I mean, what could be cooler than gaining abilites? I know it takes awhile, but, isn't it worth the wait?

Umm...yeah it's kind of cool. But it's not like this is the only game out there you gain abilities in. I could think of Tactics, FF IX, right off the bat. You gain abilities in both of those.
Shit...you do in FF X and X-2 as well. Seems like a legit system, where you can actually grow within a class, instead of being a thief or warrior and have no abilities relative to that class. I like the system but I'm not suggesting that other systems like FF VIII's junction system is not as good if not better. I think it was necessary for this type of game though with changing classes as you progress through the game.
