The Great War of Gaia:

Many years after the threat of the great meteor had been stopped, the Shinra regime slowly started to lose power in the world of Gaia. Therefore the Shinra regime entered many wars with neighboring countries to secure its position in the world and set an example to all. A bitter peace was eventually struck with all nations of Gaia making all defeated countries protectorates of the Shinra government.

One hundred years later these nations would start a revolt known as "The War of Independence" in which the protectorate states all untied to attack the Shinra. The War of Independence lasted over 75 years in which many people died a miserable and pointless death. The UOP (Union of protectorates) eventually subdued the mighty Shinra nation and forced them to write a formal document issuing that the countries of Canuoria (Cosmo Canyon area), The Empire of Wutai, Union of Mideel, The FDNA(Federal Democratic Nation of Ancitaria (the northern Island)), The Independent State of Junon, The Nibel Federation, and The Republic of Corel all recieve liberation from the oppressive state of Shinra.

The times after these declarations were very turbulant with many civil wars breaking out accross all of Gaia. Many years later the status stabilised although the nations still didnt get along with each other. Again a growing tension came upon the world of Gaia with many nations starting to evolve their ambitions and dreams.

The Republic of Shinra again fearing that their nation would fall to the tides of time started to build up their weapons again in a hope to get supreme control of the world and to secure the future of the mighty nation. The other nations were weary of this and many of them decided to build up their weaponry as well. Shinra started to search the world for a weapon that would give them the advantage in battle. Many recon divisions were sent out including the special forces known as The Turks.

The island nation of Wutai was one that had a very old and deep culture spanning thousands of years. Wutai was also a very aggressive nation that raised many warriors from their childhood to become mighty Samurai. These were modernized into a futuristic version and made up the bulk of the Wutai army. The newly elected dictator of Wutai, Soto Kadowara, was a powerhungry ambitionist and sawt to expand the territories of Wutai and make them a world power with the help of this fierce army. The first invasion move started against Nibel in which the Empire of Wutai successfully conquered a piece of the mainland. This silenced the mighty empire...but how long would it be before they wanted more.

Ancitaria, protectors of peace, fearing another pointless war started serious diplomatic actions to persuade the nations of Gaia to stop any further violence and bloodshed. The large nation of the north was able to make a coalition that would intervene if their was ever any outbreak of war. They formed a pact with the nations of Canouria and Corel.

Meanwhile the colonial power of Junon, a once very close ally of Shinra, started to conjure their own plans. They wanted to spread many more territories around the world that would supply their mighty nation with the many resources it would need to flourish and thrive.

A massive barrier had severed ties between many of the nations and the world of Gaia was close to seeing another massive war, but this time between every nation and not just Shinra and the rest.

Somewhere in the Empire of Wutai:

He looked around around. He noticed the bush moving. He slowly crept over to the small bush trying to be as silent as possible. This was no mere task but he was also no mere person. He had been trained as a child to be one with his surroundings and blend in. His sense were also far more advanced than a normal human beings. As he approached the bush he stopped and nocked his bow, readying himself for the shot. Suddenly the animal jumped out and released a mighty shot of his bow. With a massive thwap the animal fell to the ground where the man then proceeded to pick it up. He started towards a small path where he eventually made his way to his home in the capitol of Wutai, Mishino.

He eventually got to the front door of his penthouse. He made his way into the elevator which took him to the 50th floor. He new he was home. Looking out his scenic window he could see the capitol which went on for miles and miles in all directions. It was a massive metropolis which was very advanced for the time period and enjoyed luxuries that other nations could only dream of. He dropped the animal into a container which would skin the animal and refine the meat to many forms tha could immediately be used for cooking. His wife came into the living room.

"Were you out hunting again Akira? I just dont understand how someone can still do that kind of thing in this day and age. We are the most technologically advanced nation and my husband still goes into the wild to hunt poor defenceless animals."

He veered his sights over to her and then laughed. "Well I dont do it for the meat, you know that. Im able to refine my senses and hone my skills out there that way. And as it looks we are going to be starting a war soon so Id rather be prepared than sorry."

Just as he had said this the TV turned on automatically. This meant only one thing, the leader of Wutai was holding another great speech.

"People and citizens, and foremostly Wutai, I have a message for our mighty Empire. The evil nation of Nibel has once again attacked are soldiers and we will be forced to intervene and punish them for their wrongs. I wish to announce that we are entering the final stages of the invasion of Nibel which we will annex to our Empire. We will save the poorly directed people of Nibel and show them the ways of the future. Their evil regime must be ousted and renewed with a powerful Wutai leader at its peak. I will proclaim on this day the liberation of Nibel. We will remove those that wish to harm our nation for the mere fact that our people are more successful and more determined. WE ARE THE PEOPLE OF WUTAI AND WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE THE ATTACKS ON OUR PEOPLE! WE DO THIS FOR OUR PEOPLE, FOR OUR ANCESTORS, AND FOR WUTAI!!!" His voice trembled with a mighty and emotional tone to it.

"HAIL MIGHTY WUTAI!!! HAIL MIGHTY WUTAI!!! HAIL MIGHTY WUTAI!!!" Akira could hear all the voices of the people in the background and outside.

He stoop up and saluted the flag of Wutai which every citizen had in their home. He fealt trememdous, like he could do anything for his homeland. He grabbed his mighty sword and started to hold it in the traditional Wutai way. He swung it back and forth and then slowly and precisly sheathed it again. He was ready for anything or at least thats how he fealt. Any minute now he would get the phone call to report at the barracks 39 and regroup his division. They would all be ready for the war at hand. All ready to devote their lives, if need be, to Wutai.

Suddenly he heard a strong ringing. He activated the phone screen. It was the homeland defense minister, Field Marshall Matsura, no doubt notifying him of the status.

"Akira Sukuo, this is to formally notify you that Wutai is currently at war with the deplorable nation of Nibel. Wutai asks of your service now, in its time of need. Prove your loyalty and honor by reporting to barracks 39 to group up with your division. You will then be transoprted with the 245W Leviathen Transport and be dropped on the coast of Nibel. Your unit will have a special mission ahead of them. You will be dropped behind enemy lines to sever all further connections of the main Nibel army to supplies and ammunition. We need you to secure Fort Delta and to reinforce the structure. Shortly thereafter the Nibel army will make their retreat to their capitol, Rocket Town, stopping at the fort on the way. You will pose as Nibel soldiers and get them into firing range. Once they get close enough start firing on the troops using the heavy cannon mounted in the center of the Fort. After this you will proceed with your finest soldiers into a direct attack on the Nibel troops. Once the threat has been neutralized you will wait at the Fort. at 0600 hours the spearhead attack of the mighty Wutai army will reach the Fort where they will restock and resupply. From here on you will merge with the main attack force and directly assault the capitol. Once the Nibel government surrenders you will be returned to Wutai to your home. NOW GO AND FIGHT FOR YOUR LAND, MIGHTY WUTAI!!! Hail Wutai!!!"

Akira replied "Hail Wutai!!!" The transmossion then cut away and Akira immediately turned around and left through the door to make his way to his awaiting destiny....

[Suzu Kitamura]

Asuka walks down the hall, hands in his pocket, aimlessy looking at the walls. The walls are decorated with lines running straight, down, and straight again into a pentagon shaped window; seeing recks of the train graveyard. Green and black marble color fill the floors, while grey and white colors fill the walls of the hall. This place is called Neo-Shinra an underground, unofficial facility for leftover soldiers of Shinra Headquarters or where the Turks hangout to rest and plan.

Asuka's steps echoe through the hallway, his chains(connected to his sword) rustling as he walks. Soldiers pass him by, and others lay back on the walls and talk to one another about their famlilies. Asuka ends up to a closed path, where it doesn't give way to the door he wants to go, suddenly a white glowing, feather slowly falls on his left shoulder, and poof appeared a beautiful young lady.

"So Asuka..." she stops to think what to say next,then she continues,"how are you going to meet the President now that you're path is unreachable?"

"Find another way, I guess see that?" he points to the speaker's button,"press that and let me speak."

Sophia flies over to the speaker and presses the button, a few seconds came a soft voice "Hello?" then Asuka cleared his throat and spoke.

"Ah yes, names Asuka, I'm here to register to work here, do you except?" Asuka asked, and paused to wait for the voice's answer. "You may come." Sophia then let go off the button, and flew back to where Asuka was standing, they both looked at each other and nodded. Asuka took a step forward, while Sophia followed, a floating transparent pedastle appeared, and would appear each step they took. Until he reached the door,it opened automatically, and as it fully opens both see that it was a lady; Elena one of the four Turks.

Zinn wandered around the pissy smelly Midgar slums in wander of what he would find.As he passes the beutiful yet sorrowful flower church, he noticed something was going on just ahead. He ran as fast as he could, but when there he saw nothing. He then saw something quickly creeping in the lonely dark, unawear that Zinn was there.As he followed the mysterious object to where it was hastily headed, he saw the dark figure drop something large like a sack of weapons or something! It was a sack alright but there was something moving in the large dirty bag, making murmering sounds! Then the thing was brought from the sack on the dirty ground, it's a,.........Mu? Zinn then realized that he was in the sector 7 monster careing visinity, he walked off feeling very stupid and dumb founded. Once again Zinn passes the wonderful flower patch in the only church in the Midgar slums, in Midgar for that matter!

He would keep on walking when he saw someone, trying to keep conversation as low as possible for whatever reason wanted. Then as he was walking to a stop at the sector 7 gates he saw this man and woman emerging from some underground facility wearing the same uniform, the lady was blond with her hair shoulder length, and she had a shiny silver gun on her waist, the man was wearing a gun as she was and an extra weapon, a sword!

Noel lifted his lance, and rested it on his shoulder. He'd been a primary target of the Turks for some time, and was now in hiding. The Turks were getting on his nerves, forcing Noel to remain reclusive in the slums, a place of which he hated. The fumes burned his nostrils, and weakened his senses. "Goddamn this place" muttered Noel, crushing some filth in his right hand, "No wonder everyone here is depressed...It's a shit hole".

Noel cursed his situation. He could hear some voices, and walked towards them. He spotted a strong looking girl and able bodied young man, and not too far away was another man, who looked like a fighter. Noel kicked a can that seemed to be in his way, and he made his way towards them.
