The Greatest Aeon(s)

Okay, who/what do you think is the best aeon?

There probably has been a thread on this before, but I searched and couldn't come up with anything, so meh.

Here's one for favorite aeon, and here's one for aeon with the best overdrive, and here's yet another for favorite aeons.

You're only going to get the same responses over and over again. I don't know how you couldn't see them, especially if you searched. I searched, and they came right up. Your thread's somewhat pointless.


...but in light of its existance, I chose Bahamut, because he's the best all-around player.

Even though she is as strong as my MAIN aeons, i would have to say Shiva (don't know if i said that right,) because, well i like the color blue and she is in a form of some woman.

Well Im gonna have to take Bahamut because hes a dragon pimp daddy and owns in every Final Fantasy Ive played yet. Not only that but he looks awesome.

I couldn't decide between Valefor, Anima, and Bahamut. But, I chose Anima.

Why not Bahamut: He may be a dragon, and very powerful. But he doesn't make you wet yourself and run screaming to hide under your bed. Yes, he is bad, and comes in as my third favorite.
Why not Valefor: Valefor is awesome when it comes to having the coolest looks. She can make you wet yourself, but not quite run away screaming. And, she is pretty much the weakest when it comes to battles.

Why I chose Anima: She makes EVERYONE run away, screaming and not just wetting themselves. When Seymour summoned her in Luca, that was pretty scary. When she uses her Overdrive, her "other self" is pretty scary. She ABSOLUTELY rules in power and looks. Even over Bahamut and Valefor.

People, who cares really if there has been another thread, there are only so many topics people can talk about on an individual game. Also, if we didnt post repeated threads, nobody technically would come to the site because nobody can really think of a new thread, so kindly lay off, especially on new members until they get the hang of it.

In terms of the post, I voted anima because she has the best attacks, although I use Shiva the most in VIII and X, out of all of the aeons, so it was a close call.

Now Shiva has always been my all-over favorite....but of the ones they don't use ALL the time I would say Ixion. I sometimes go by looks and attacks rather than sheer power.......so for THIS poll I'm going with Ixi.

Bahamut is pretty cool for one he is a dragon for how long I have been playing that game Bahamut is the best.

Anima, folks. Pain, man! Anima is the most awesome rightichis one. He owns. I would say magus based on there stats, but..... you can't control them direcly.

My fave aeon got to be Anima!Her(Seymour's mum)"Pain" may sounds simple, but the damage is devastating!Her look and power is threatening, and her overdrive is so POWERFUL!!!NO ONE HAVE A REASON TO HATE ANIMA!

I think Shiva's the best. She is amazing in this game. Does a roundhouse kick (if that's what u call it), has a fantastic hairstyle, has a great bod and her Diamond Dust is, as always, awesome. I loved her sequence too. Especially when she comes out of the ice and does the finger snap in her Diamond Dust move. So cool!

to tell the truth, I think that Shiva is second in my fave aeon list, the only thing she loses to anima is that her looks is like... emotionless, not cool or threatening at all

Purely on power, I'd have to say Anima, no contest.

Not only are her attacks pretty powerful, but her overdrive is devastating. On average it does around 200,000+ damage in total.

Otherwise, I like the Magus Sisters a lot. They have good (and pretty powerful attacks), useful Magic, a pretty cool entrance sequence and quite a powerful overdrive.

Shiva looks pretty cool too (no pun intended ). Her abilities and attacks can be pretty useful early on and she also has a pretty cool entrance sequence.

That's the best aeon in the whole game.

It's pretty risky to do it but when zanmato comes, it's over.

But for raw power it could be anima. She has very powerful attack and everything.
