"Sol Lucet Omnibus" (The sun shines for everyone)

I open my eyes one more time, nothing has change, the same room, the same smell of old candles iluminating poorly, i awake in my 22 birthday and the world is just as i left it, sunk in darkness...

I sit near the fire...
A gentle voice sound from behind my door "Sir, a lady wants to ask you some question"
"Let her pass" i answer...

The door open, using the ability of fire i lit more candles to guide my guest...
"take a sit, miss..."
"Miss Rinses, Sir Arudo"

Her voice sounded so perfect, even without looking at her i could describe her, the echoes of the room reflecting in her person painting in my head a vivid image of her beauty.

"What can i do for you miss rinses"
"I have travel from around the globe, collecting the story of how the world arise from the darkness that surrounded for millennia" she asked so firmly that i could not resist, the promise that i have made to my comrades of not spreading the word of our journey was about to be broken.

"Indeed a great subject my dear, but as you can see, for me, the world is still in darkness, the story you are looking for is beyond my words, every human in this earth has a piece of that story because we all suffer the same fate back then" my words trying to evade her real question.

"Yes i agree with you, but only a selected group fight for the suffer of everyone, only few draw their swords and stand against the unknown to give us this magnific gift, the sun..."

"I have never seen that "sun" but if you are talking about the sphere that gives me warm, i can not refuse to tell you the story, we try to keep it in secret but i can say that it would be unfair to my dear friends to be forgotten, but mark my words my dear Rinses, none of us did this to be awarded, we did it because our lifes were destined to that task"

"I agree again Sir Arudo, and because of your kindness i would tell the truth..."

A silence cover the room, that day more secrets would be revealed...

She continued:
"I represent to the Yami Clan..."

Before she could say anything else i reach my Shirasaya and draw the blade pointing her neck.

"I assure you that the clan has change so much since your struggle, please allow me to continue" Her voice sounded confidence but the smell of fear is something that you can never forget, my reaction really scare her but her mission was more important, even her fear had to step aside. Such dicipline, only the Yami Clan could achive that in such delicate being. My Shirasaya return to its normal state as my guide for walking and i return to sit but this time i sit aside her, take her hand as a sigh of trust.
"Go on my dear, i beg you to apologize me, but that name only bring me flashes of sounds of war"

"I know that to. As i said, my clan wants to gather the story, to keep record of our human weakness to future generations, for the peace"

Those words, "Peace", how many time i hear it during our battles, surely we all fight to achive that goal, but "fighting for peace", the sole idea sounded incoherent, how can you fight if you want peace... I try to return to the conversation and say...

"Ok, the purpose you present is fair enough, i will tell you how the sun return to the world"

6 Years ago, as we all know, darkness cover the entire earth, even the oldest of the towns and groups remember the earth allways sunk in that darkness. For me.. it was normal. About your Yami Clan, they aterrorize the people, devastate everything in their path and devour the flesh of their victims, we all know now that the rulers of your clan make a pack with demons to rule. But in exchange, the demons will devour the flesh of the innocent.
My life was normal, i was the son of a merchant, but one day, the first of my blindness, some demons attack the caravan of my family, after balls of fire crash our convoy i lost conscious, when i wake up one of those monsters stare at me, and decided to devour me, the dagger of my mother lied in my hand and i trust it in the forehead of the monster, i conceal the screams cutting his neck but his blood fall over my eyes, the pain draw me mad, until i fall to a river. When i wake up i lost my sight, desperate i wondered blind and fall many times, until one person came close and take me under his care. two years i spend training in a convent, learning how to use all of my other senses to protect me... The day of my graduation, my master give me this Shirasaya, but then again, the hordes of darkness attack, my master protect me with his life, when the battle ended i was soaked, i can remember if it was blood or rain, anger take a permanent place in my heart and i swore to take revenge...

I travel many days and then i knew someone...

(here is where someone introduce himself... battles are at the top of the subject, so you can engage battle almost anytime, those demons live in the shadows and as the world is under them, in every corner is danger. Any question, suggestions are wellcome)

I traveled many days and nights, some times it felt as if the darkness would consume me. Just when all else was against me an inner fire would build up and help me through. i can't tell you the time that i wondered because time did not elapse in this strange world i had found my self in. One day as i walked i felt some thing i had not felt in ages and that was warmth! I pushed on, I hade to find the sorce of this magic. Its true that the world was covered in darkness but i remembered a substance called fire. This fire would drive hordes of demons away and keep the tride warm and safe, it was a blessing from vallhala my elders used to say. As i got closer to the warmth all the sadness vanished and i felt renewed. Finally i broke through and the warmth was as close as it could be. So i sat down and took in this Alien substence. I must have fallen asleep for i cant remember but i was awoken by screaming. I got up and drew Shirasaya, i knew this sound it was the sound of war and sadness. I readied my self and began to become one with the gem and without seeing what was the couse of the disturbence i invisioned it in my mind. There were two lichins and... People many people. People that were running and people trying to fight the demons. Quikly i sprinted into the fray and with lighting reflexes parried around the running people and into the front line of fighting. One was on my left side and the other was on my right i stood ready for the correct time. The lichins hissed with anger and regret. they come. i knelted down and slipped my sword through its sorf skin, my sword cutting through bone and tissue. The other missed its mark and leaped at me! AS it ran at me I stuck Shirasaya into its neck and used it to lift of and jumped around its head severing it from the rest of the body. It was done the evil was taken care of. After that i sheathed my sworded and awaited for any others that would still be there. "holy cow, buddy were did you learn that!" i turned to the sound of the voice.It seems i stumbled apone a convoy of a traveling circus. They told me that in a world of sadness and darkness they wanted to make people smile. I told them my story but they said i must have been making it up becouse no place ever excisted and were i came from is in the heart of the darkness and no body can live there. I was adopted into the family and Garu the man i meet the night i slayed the demons become like father to me. also there were children my age there and we played and fantisced like children do. It was at this time i learned the legends of old. How there was once lots of fire and that a great ball once stood in the sky and gave warmth to every one. This was a dream but some how i knew there had to be truth to it. I was 9 at the time and its then that i must have made my promise to find the great ball and bring it back. " Garu,Garu whats going on!" "o, now its nothing bad but we have a visiter at the camp!?" Every one was running around crazy like when i showed up but this time there was no demons. Garu hide me and the other children in one of the secret hiding spots for the magicians. This was one time i did not listen to Garu and the last time i would not listen to him. I new the camp and snuck Around to were Garu was. I heard voices i made never heard before. " Circus man this cant be all the food you have were is the rest, and also i thought i asked for some women!" " hehe the boss doesnt like to lose his temper" and snivling voice came from the crowd of bandits. Garu said in a stern voice " thats all now leave." " now now circus goof you now what i think...." said the other nastier voice. I heard a sword and a thud. At that mininut i knew... i rushed to were Garu was and landed in a pool of blood and flesh. " find all you can then burn the rest, ill take care if this shrimp" the snivling voice said. The bandits took me and made me a slave to work for them. They took me far away and to a forgein place. It was a curse and a blessing it was here in these years that i would hone my skills and make a friend that would one day bring everlasting warmth to the world. My goal now was to make people smile like Garu did and the only way was to bring back the ball off fire in the sky!

( sry i wrote this really fast . Keep in mind the main character is around 13 years old as he escapes the banditas. Sry dude i didnt know i was god modding let me know if you have a problem with it and ill git rid of it.)
