Was final fantasy x-2 really a good game?

How did you enjoy X-2?

It had a good story, but the game was alot shorter than X, and also the last boss was way to EASY!

Yes, I liked it.

Story- bland, I didn't like it. I wish there was more Rikku to it though.

The final boss- easy too. An alchemist and two dark knights easily get the job done.

Length- I easily spent 40 hours on one game (though that includes leveling up to about level 91)

Though, I really enjoyed the game. It was much lighter than other FF games. It was ... dare I say... fun? There was a lot of humor, that actually kept the mood light. I'm not saying that other FF's aren't light, but they are more, ... dramatic than this one.

Besides the fact that it had the 'charlie's Angels meets Square Enix' feel to it, the game did have a high factor of gameplay.

The dress spheres was definately something new and it was relatively easy to switch back and forth in battle. I prefer a much darker, mystic, midevil feel, but this game entertained me. I never beat the game because I lost interest, but I remember getting fairly far in it.

Let's just hope there isn't going to be a X-3... unless they tone it down a little bit and maybe make one with just the guys, as opposed to girls. Who knows, Square Enix is doign so many spin-offs these days, I wouldn't be surprised.

It was fun and extremely easy and short!!!!!!!! tooo easy 4 me altho i needed help at the music part at the end

Well it was more of an unofficial FF game than the others and I fealt that it was more of an "expansion" to FFX. It was all in all fun though and it wasnt that bad to just play the girls for once although I hope they dont do it again.

The battle system was definitely new and original. I like the quickness of the battles because you could almost instantly kill all enemies if you were strong enough at the beginning making it look kinda anime-ish (you know the stereotype samurai that instantly kills all enemies in a few quick blows).

it seemed to short to me and the plot seemed kinda obvious. although it does seem to have alot more humor than all the other ff games.

I liked it. The last boss was REALLY easy. I do like all the side quest though. The dress shpere idea wasn't half bad and I like the music.

Wow every one in here has a mostly positive view of the game. Of course we're all FF fans but still it was bashed a lot. It may have had the cutesy moments but Yuna's thoughts always toned it back down. I thought the entire battle system was awsome and addicting. There was actually quite a lot to do and see if you did everything and got all of the dialogue scenes. Even if you didn't like it you gotta admit it had some good replay value considering you could chose between New Yevon and the Youth League and get alternate endings for Rin's investigation, the Ronso uyouth prising, and other things. I actually have'nt finished the game I've only gotten to just before you go to fight the last boss. But the story(as far as I've gone) wasn't too bad besides being a little predictable and a few other flaws. All in all this game seemed to me a like a little break from the serious tone of the other FF's. Oh yeah, I loved the music in the game, mostly the piano songs, the only one I couldn't stand was the music the band played on the airship after you pick them up. Dun dun da na na na DUH DUH NA NAA!

I liked it, specially the song a 1000 words, it was a very cute and sweet story, really I still dont know why a lot of people hate it to damn much but I actually enjoyed it a lot.

It was really OK and had awesome music and graphics, but it's not one of my fav. I think that it wasn't that good as the other FFs, probably because of the only three main characters. However, the characters were cool, but still the weren't enough. I like it as a game but I like the other FFs more.

i think x-2 is not as good as x because the story is not as good as the previous ones and the graphics aint as good.

There were a lot of things that annoyed me in this game. All those stupid sidequests, what for? Its so boring to run around here and there. Anyway, despite all the little annoying things, I find the game fun to play although I still felt something was missing. I loved the mission/chapter divisions. I managed to finish the game while equipping them with berserkers and using only the attack command. It was no trouble at all. This was actually the first FF that I finished.. I don't know if that really means that this game is easy and short like everyone says it is. Another thing, I guess I felt sort of weird due to the game's super cheerful/pleasant mood unlike the dark melancholic atmosphere in other FF games. This was a nice change, but Suare Enix should not make a habbit out of it, especially with having an all-girl cast. I'm not completely against it, but it just doesn't work all the time.
