$700 US for a box with a spinning wheel, that plays an Aeris tune.

If you ask me, that's pretty damn steep.

Aside from the sentimental value, you would be better off pre-recording the Aeris Theme onto a mp3 player, attaching some mini speakers, then sitting down in a park.. then paying $700 for the same sensation via a wooden box with some metal inside. Hell, theres no Aeris' pictures or dolls. Madness!

Just to clear things up, I'm not affiliated with that site at all. I just happened to stumble across that the other night. They've got some pretty rare merch on there. They had a Blitzball for sale on there, but I think they sold out. Pretty impressive stuff, but I'll take note of the warning about how legit the dealer is.

I'm not sure what you are calling "bullcrap", but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend you weren't talking about my post (in general), but rather the music box...or perhaps the price. "Too many chiefs, not enough indians". Ever hear of that? It applies here. I'm sure the Mods can handle such errors justly without your guidance or clearance. I think the price and item are bullcrap, but I don't see why sqauresoft would have made that, it seems a little too dodgy.

I personally think this belongs better in Gen FF, and had it not been for the fact Cain already moved it once from somewhere to here, I'd move it there.

Sure it might belong better in FFVII since it plays a VII tune, but I don't really see it fit to go there since it's more merchandise...

Then again I suppose media is where it belongs.

Anyways, I'd never spend that much on a piece of merchandise, no matter how rare it is. It just doesn't seem worthwhile, though I can see why it costs as much as it does.

Exactly why I left it in Gen FF to start with. ^_^ GFF is the ideal place for actual Final Fantasy related Merchandise (sp?) .. not in Gaming Media just because it chimes.
