When I search the forum I usually see funny or strange usernames,and ive been wondering:Why did you pick exactly that nick?

If you ask me about that question,heres the answer:
I wanted the username Alex,but it was taken(or something like that) so I used the Scandinavian version of it:Aleks.

My old user name was ultima_trev. I picked that because Ultima is my favorite spell (at least in some of the FFs) and Trev is an abreviation for my name.

Anyhow, I left TFF for two years and reregistered after the long vacation. In case anyone couldn't tell, vertamiltu is Ultima Trev backwards.

I've no reason in patricular, but well... I just wanted to make mine a little not making sense.... well... weird. Yeah, I know, maybe it's not good. Basically a silhouette is a dark figure against a bright background. I didn't realize this other way of looking at my username until after 2 days. Well, I didn't care. I mean, if you like it why change it? But anyways, the way I thought of this at first is: A silhouette cannot be a silhouette in the dark. The surroundings must be bright in order to create a silhouette. That's what I meant.... Did that answer your question? I hope!

Well it was when i fisrt signed up here (about 3 and a half years ago) Zell_Dincht being a newbie and all...then I changed it to Kou Leifoh mainly because I liked the name and then overtime everyone just abbreviated it to Kou and there you go.

And they all lived happily ever after.

Nekoco's name made me think that she likes anime actually.

Do I need to explain why I have this name? lol I am not a die hard FF8 fan though I love Quistis Trepe. I changed this name several times but they never feel like 'home'. So I stuck with this name and stopped thinking about something else that's more creative.

My last name is Shipman and used Schiffi which is a germanized nickname of it for sorts

Actually all other forums I use jonshipman or 7on (when I sign my name my J's look like 7's)

I have a funny habit of taking names and mixing them to create new ones. Hence this nickname. Ryayukou is really old (almost 4 years O_O ), and I've used a few others in the past, but like Mina, they never felt the same, and therefore I mostly use this one.

I had the thought driving "Obsolete Absolution" once and I was like, "Ooh, interesting phrase." Decided that it wouldn't work as an AIM name, and didn't like the short ObsoleteAbsolve, so I switched it to Resolve. I still prefer the longer Obsolete Resolution.

I just think it's an interesting combination of words, and I'm rather fond of the meaning, also.

i choose my name by doing 2 litres of payoti, i mean i was puking, then i let a hooker suck me off..then i got a got a bad rash..then i realised sex has to be X'd..but inr eality, iwas just bored and i came up with it.

My eyes are green, and there's brown in one and blue in the other, so I thought.... Ocean! Eyes! And then I added a number to the end for no reason. My birthdate was in February, 1988. So... 2 and 88 minus an 8 equals 28. Yes.

I thought Necron from FIX was cool back when I joined, and thought the word 'Neo' was cool too. Put them both together and I thought I had a username that sounded uber-cool.

Now I dont exactly think it's great, but not bad ^_^. None the less, it's my identity here now, so it stays.
