Poll War IV: The final battle
Thank you for all participating. First of all, I want to thank you all. The success of these poll wars have been awesome! I closed all the other poll wards so anyone can see the results, but not keep voting on them. Then so in the future other people if they want can make the same thread with maybe different options.
Now here is the final battle! Battle of the Characters : Vivi was the winner. Battle of the Summons: Bahamut was the winner. (didnt see that coming) Battle of the game's elements: Characters was the winner. Now to see what exactly makes this game good! Vote on which one you think has the most impact on the game. Which one really hooked you in! I want to remind you all... No bashing peoples opinions! Arguing is allowed though! But keep it mature. After this poll is done.. I'll keep it open as an open discussion thread so everyone can continue to argue on which one should have won. Which one should have been up there. Enjoy!

I can't necessarily say that they've all got an EQUAL impact, but Vivi certainly wasn't my favorite character (Freya is, for the record). The characters were undoubtedly the best part of the game though. FFIX was really fun, but the stories of the characters stand out the most to me. Vivi, poor guy... I won't post anything because I'd spoil it, but his story was quite possibly the best of all. The plot twists weren't all expected, either, like a lot of RPGs tend to do. Anywho, I voted Characters. w00t.

It's not just one character that makes the game great. It's the whole group, they all have something to fight for, and are surviving against all odds. It's great motivation for playing, and it makes the game 20 times cooler to play.

I voted for the characters. Vivi is my favorite in the game, however. I'm not into guy on Black Mage action, so I'm not going to rape him. Now if it was Lulu, we'd be seeing a different answer from me...but it's not...goddamnit, there I go straying from the subject again. Anyway...the characters.

Definitely characters. What is a game without characters?? Nothing. This game did have pretty good characters too. My fav was definitely Steiner. He just hit that part of me that that I was like, hey, he's cool. Plus, I love knight swords.

I LOVE Bahamut, he was really great.
But I have to vote for the characters because just for Bahamut, I would not have gone the long way to beat those fags and stuff just to face a blue joke and a football at the end. The characters were so fine drafted (and soooooo cuuuute), they managed to get my wife into FF! And just for this, they deserve to win this poll. Did I mention that I really want to screw Lani?

Hmm.. I found Bahamut to be rather disappointing, this time around.
I'm probably the only person with that view though, heh, sure he looks like a hardcore badass m0f0 that could destroy galaxies.. but, he barely manages to destroy some of the monsters on my battle screen, let alone the universe. lol. Could be a stat issue but it doesnt seem to make much difference in my game. Blah =\ .. on the other hand, I dont see how the game is even possible without a character set, so my vote is thrown up for option #3. Gotta love those Sword Art and Dragon abilities.

 no spoilers, please! i havent completed it yet, but i thnk the characters and, of course, the Garnet and Zidane thing is the best. Those two are such a good couple it almost makes me cry - why are men like Zidane only imaginary?!?!?!why?!?!?!?! anyway, i am so jealous of garnet, and whoever wants to screw Lani, ew. just, nooooo! not only is she uuuug-ley but she cant even carry her axe!  as i said, im only just on disk 4, so spare me the ending!!! or at least give a warning...  |

I loved the characters but one thing bothered me Amerant This guy sucked! barely a story ha never said a word and he just plain pissed me off. summtin about him. He looked gay to. I mean c'mon square soft you can do better then that. the whole game he was just like filler space but aleast they could have made him cool filler space like Mog in FF6 or Edea in FF8!
