Card game

Who else thought the card game was awesome!! i got every card and was really proud. best part of Viii in my opinion.

It is often critisized, I critized it at first myself also, mainly because I didn't understand it, but once I got to know it, I enjoyed it. You've just got to understand it, and you can enjoy it.

And yes, I got all the cards at one point also. Took me a while of course, but I was satisfied. Just before the final boss, I modded them all though ^_^. Actually, it was just before fighting Omega Weapon. All those items are useful.

The cards are another thing I'd like an FAQ for for this forum, though again, I just don't have the time to make one. So any volenteers, please send me a PM.

The first time I played the game I realy didn't care for the card thing and I really didn't get it. But the second time I did man about half my time on the game was playing with the cards. I did get all the cards but just like NN said, I rifined them at the final bose and on Omega Weapon.

Hay NN if your talking about the cards that some people have in their sigs. I'm talking about those little ones like Loco use to have in his.

Umm.... I'm talking about the FFVIII cards.... seeing as that's what this thread is about O_o.

I said I wanted an FAQ regarding the FFVIII Card system to put in this forum, not a card for my sig

The FAQ thing would be a good idea though. I know some people have trouble on the card game the rules changing and all.

I'm an expert at the rule changing/abolishing
Just this morning I've abolished random from EVERYWHERE so far
But yeah, I restarted FF8 yesterday and have clocked up about 20 hours so far, and I'm still only upto Galbadia Garden (First time round)
I've spent A LOT of the time getting rare cards.

Just go on gamefaqs.com and type in final fantasy 8 in the quick search. You can find anything you want on that about the card game, including how to abolish the different sorts of rules. Hope that helps you out.

It's not that I need one personally, I just think that one would be a useful addition to this forum, as a sticky thread or summit. It wouldn't be right to just steal one of the ones from Game FAQS, which is why I'd like it if there was somebody available to create a fresh one.

I think I'll give ttadvance a try. I once played a version called Questria which was quite good.

I used to play questria but I sucked at it so I quit, TTadvance is better in my opinion

Dont suppose you could help me out. Iv gone on that ttadvance and registered, but how do you get any cards, the only ones i can see, you have to buy with points and i aint got any lol!

Go to new deck and at the bottom of the screen it says get new deck hit that and there you go.
