I think the cool characters and storyline is the best thing about FFVIII

Yeah... it was cool... I mean... great storyline... those characters are awesome...they had their own personality... like real persons... in resume...

Amazingly, though this is my favourite FF game, I really don't know what I like best about it. I guess it's the fact that I know it so well. Even though it's easy for me now, I enjoy sailing through it.

I guess I need to really think about this one

My favorite FF game. The first time they used "grown" characters, the awsome but not perfect battle system, the graphics and the character design.

I guess um the same as neo, I could probably beat FFVIII in a day. Not bragging though.

I also enjoy the need for attention to play this, because if you dont then u have a sucky character because of no magic.

I'd have to say because i like the junction system and because i like drawing magic and not using it (exept full-life).

Hah, you don't need loads of magic to make a good character. Just level up nicely, atleast have cure magic junctioned to HP and get the lovely limit breaks, along with aura and meltdown magic, and you're set, I say

I guess what I like best about this game if the cool characters, cool FMVs, and the most awesome music to any final fantasy game ever. Nothing rivals the music to this game. And if there was one game I could play for ever would be this game. I don't know why my friends keep asking me why I like the game so much. This was my first final fantasy game I got so it has sentimental value. On a scale of 1-10, this would be a 10.

What I liked about FFVIII, was that some scenes were like real movie scenes, full of acyion, it made me get goosebumps once in a while, jus' beautiful...

I loved the fourth disc. Ultimecia's castle is one of the best parts in any FF for me.

Junction system is the best system to evolve a character in all the FF. And of course Squall is very very cool

I have to agree with angerdog, I loved Disc 4 too. Sure, it was sifferent, but I guess that's somehow what I like about it. I wouldn't say it's my favourite disc. I'm not sure what is.

i do think that FFVIII is not as good as the rest, FFX-2 is the only one worse.
