About Final Fantasy connection

i just wanted to know if anyone knew the connection between Final Fantasy I all the way though to Final Fantasy X. I'm asking this because alot of people have said that if you look hard enough you'll see or find things that are connected to the last Final Fantasy before it. i just wanted to know if that's true and if it is what is the connection

you always have to save the world, and there are always stuff thats "borrowed" from older games. Such as names, classes, battle systems, music et.c

Well, because almost everything. Good storyline, cool characters, great music, super battle systems.... just everything.

There is no connection between any of the Final Fantasy games, none. Natta. Maybe in a later Final Fantasy they'll discover a connection between the games, but I doubt it.

There is no true connection between the games, and (excluding X & X-2) they are all completely different stories. However, there are plenty of minor links between the games that make them somewhat connected. For example, most of the games possess a character named Cid. Also, many of them have chocobos. In addition, some of the "newer" games make references to items and places in previous games. Overall, though, there isn't really a concrete link between them all.

- similar menu & message box design (not in FFX though)

Yeah this pretty much sums it up. The storylines are totally different, the worlds are different, and the characters are different. Aside from a few names, summons, and weapons that are used over and over there really is no connection between any of them.

Then again the constant "saving the world" thing.

Well, none really have a connection, except X and X-2, but that's because their sequels. I think that X-2 and VII might be linked, that's because of something one kid says towards the end about the Farplane. His name also sort of gives me that idea, Shinra. Other than that, nothing seems linked. They do all have great music and storylines, well I'm not sure about FF1, I didn't see much of a storyline, it seemed mostly composed of sidequests.

Honestly, thats about it.
I would've choose all of the above in the poll but it wasn't an option.

Im also going to take all of the above because I like most of those aspects and they seem to be present in all Final Fantasies.

Well connections are there but as others have already posted they are minor and are just things that are trademarks of Final Fantasy so I dont think one should necessarily hypothesise a true connection to all making them all one big game or something.

i dont find so many good conections but i know 1 from FF IV...
its the three deltasister or what ever they are called... theyr the last aeon in FF X
