| Final Fantasy I+II The first two titles that started it all have been made and remade for several systems from the NES to the PSP. Talk about any iteration of these two titles here. |

well there a whole lot easier than the original games, but there are some extras like new dungeons or caves or whatever you want to call them. my only real advice to you is just to play them because there really not that hard. if you played the real ones you would know there harder than any of the new ff games, but the remake was made easier cause of that cause the people in america arent really used to hard games which i think is stupid cause everything is so easy now. hey whatever, right? like i said, my advice for you is to just play it. there pretty straghtforward so its easy to follow.

((heh...first I see a username tidus rocks and now tidus blows. I thought it was funny.))
Well first off you will want to buy the strategy guide. There are alot of items in the dungeons and if you want to get threw them faster then it is highly recremended. It is alot easier to lv up and the monsters are easier to me. If you play number one I recremend getting a warrior, white mage, thife, and black mage. The monk isn't really good. He can't use magic and his attack is weak. Aleast mine did. The red mage is really good in attack and good in magic but you can't get lv 8 magic or I think lv 7 magic. I played number 2 but in the process my game was erased at the end. #2 is really hard to me and sort of boring and hard to follow at the beggining. If you need help or anything with this game just post and I'll be happy to assist... |

you dont need to BUY a strategy guide, thats what the internet is for, plenty of free guides if you just look. Second. juust make sure you level up every now and then. and in FF2 try to keep a character using on type of weapon the whole game, they will be stronger. i usually had two weapons instead of a weapon and shield, ince th shields didn't add to defense. FF1 is very easy so go have fun, okay.

Actually the monk on the remake is overly powerful if you have your party extremely leveled up, mine is doing up to 1400 sometimes. I am at level 42 and trying to level up a bit more before chaos, where is the best place to level up? I tried the eyes but it didnt do much, is that the only decent place?
edit: This is FF1 by the way, you should mention which 1 it is too

A quick tip if you're playing the GBA version of FFI (Dawn of Souls) - do the bonus dungeon over by Crescent Lake (I think it's called Whisperwind Cove?) all the way through. It's 40 levels (!), and features 4 or 5 bosses from FFVI - but if you go all the way through you're rewarded with Ultima Weapon - which (combined with your ninja casting Temper on your warrior turn after turn and your black wizard casting Haste on him) will kill Chaos in a couple turns. There's also a cloth shield for one of your casters! ![]()

If you dont know how to do this then basically what you do is, when you line up to go attack them you do so but once you are about to attack with your last character you cancel them all and do it again, you can do it with magic as well. As for the HP, there are two things you can do: During the begining you attack yourself till its about 1/3 then finish the battle or you go to Mysidia and buy swap magic then fight the Goblins and hornets and use it on them, this automatically takes you to 5hp 0mp. If you want a challange try doing it without this ![]() |

I am just currious but which remake are you playing dos or FFO. If it is DOS I have no real advice but if it is FFO then in ff2 unequip the bow from Maria and put her on the front line with no weapon. If you are doing the skill cheat the she will do huge amounts of damage by the time you hit about lv. 4.

Well I haven't really read what other people wrote, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating, but here goes nothing. Monks are good, in I so defenitely have 1. Black Mages lose their affect, so it's just better to have a white and red one. Also the original ones are tougher so these should be easy, just wing it, you don't need a guide. I hope this helps.

Good Place to Level Up?

edit: This is FF1 by the way, you should mention which 1 it is too One of the best places to level up the penninsula at the north end of Provaka, the four squares at the tip guarantee some good exp. fights (just folow the land to the furthest north you can go.)Another really easy exp. fight is the Agama on the Volcano, there's one right in front of the chest that has the fire armor in it. You always fight at least one of them and they are complete losers. They are worth quite a bit early in the game. Another good place is in the Submarine on the first level, the monsters are a bit tougher but there worth quite a bit. At level 42 you'll have a hard time leveling quickly but these may help. |
