Quistis watched from a building rooftop as the darkness slowly devoured the sunlit sky . Making room for another chilly night. She sat on the ledge, feeling the wind blow against her long brown hair.

A fascinating view that may be categorized as romantic to most people, but to her, the thought of darkness winning over light entices her senses. Besides, with no one to share it with, she might just be better off keeping herself from mushy thoughts.

The still silence, save for the faint howling in the wind, made the sound of approaching footsteps audible to her. Quistis did not look but spoke to the person behind her once the footsteps seemed close enough.

"Sunsets are always beautiful don't you think?"

"They're not as beautiful as you..."
A figure in the distance replied, trying not to crack up as much as possible. Grinning he stood but a few meters away from Quistis with his hands in his pockets looking in her direction.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" He said to her acting cool, as the sun almost finished setting.
"I figured we'd cross paths, sooner or later... It was only a matter of when, that would be. Is it about time we continued where we had left off?"
He took his hands out of his pockets and just crossed his arms as he waited for a reply.

OOC: haha.. uh.. yeah it's been a while since I've RP'd anything.... so.. yeah ... >>;;

"They're not as beautiful as you..."

Quistis' eyes widened as she recognized the voice. She turned around to see him and she was right. He almost looked like as he did before but more mature. She wondered if he had changed at all. Noticing how he looked as if he was trying not to laugh made her realize that maybe he hasn't changed at all.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" he continued. Quistis felt her heart skip a beat. A sensation she hadn't felt for as long as she could remember.

Keisuke...

She managed to clear her throat as she stood up and faced him. It felt so difficult for her to hide a smile. After all, it was always good to see an old 'friend'.

"I figured we'd cross paths, sooner or later... It was only a matter of when, that would be. Is it about time we continued where we had left off?" Keisuke asked her. Knowing the man, she knew what he meant. Last time she saw him, they were fighting. They have always been sort of sparring partners after all.

"I am not exactly dressed for the occasion Keisuke. But hey, I am more than willing to oblige." Quistis replied as she stood before him wearing a pair of jeans and leather boots. She wore a matching denim jacket over a black tank top. Obviously, Quistis wasn't expecting a fight. Her hair pulled up by a pony tail with a few strands framing her delicately shaped face. She looked 'normal' and laid back. Obviously not her usual fighting look. But Keisuke and her knew each other from way back, so she did not mind.

"Don't worry. I did not forget the whip" she grinned as a faint green aura surrounded her hand. She created a whip out of her magic. Lately, she had been making her weapons invisible, but for some reason, she felt that she wanted Keisuke to see her weapon...for now.

"Oh yeah, I was beating you up the last time I remember. Shall I continue?" she said as she dashed towards him and tried to aim her whip towards his torso. This time, she planned to make her whip solid (like a long sword) before it hits Keisuke. He was expecting a whip to hit him after all and not a sword. And that could work to her advantage.

occ- same here. lol, dont worry, it'll be fun. we dont have to make long ass posts.lol

Keisuke stood as Quistis dashed towards him preparing to strike. He waited for the right moment to avoid the attack. As she drew her arm back, she quickly swung her arm to allow the whip to fly towards him. As the whip drew near, he blinked, and quickly stepped to the side. The weapon flew right by him crashing into the ground. The wind from the swing blew down against Keisuke.

"You've gotten stronger." He said still grinning. He took a look at the whip and realized that it was no longer a "whip" "My my.... interesting."

Keisuke smiled at Quistis and jumped into the air. He spun around in the air gaining momentum for his attack. He threw out his leg, getting ready to kick her. "Konoha Senpuu" he cried out as he tries to kick Qustis in the chin with his leg, to send her up into the air.

OOC - yep.. i'm stealing moves again hahahhaah xP

occ- That reminded me of Guile's move....sorta =P

"And you've gotten faster" Quistis remarked as Keisuke got away from her initial attack. Keisuke then jumped and spun around in the air. She saw his leg outstretched, making it obvious that his attack was a kick. Quistis only got a split second to react and she made a quick backflip barely missing Keisuke's foot. Quistis landed a few steps back crouching.

Without wasting any second she quickly stood up and ran towards Keisuke's direction, making sure she reached him before he landed from his kick. She jumped to the air holding her sword with both hands and swung it towards Keisuke when he was within the sword's reach.

Keisuke spun around as his kick missed his target. Quistis landed a few meters infront, just as Keisuke had landed, and was recovering from his last attack. As he turned around Quistis was already on the attack.

Just as Quistis swung down with her sword, Keisuke clapped his hands, catching it stopping the sword in it's downward path. The force from the attack managed to knock Keisuke down to a knee, where he recovered.
That was close... Keisuke said as he fought back her strength as he drove the sword upward. He was having a pretty hard time, but he managed to repel her attack. He used her momentum, as he turned to the left allowing him to go with her strength, as he done so he started to turn, so he could throw her behind him, into the air.

Quistis caught up with Keisuke a little too late, she was aiming to hit him before he landed but as Keisuke landed he was able to clasp the sword between his hands. Keisuke had an advantage when it comes to strength and so he was able to repel the attack.

I saw this move before..He's faster than i thought...

Before she could react, Keisuke threw Quistis behind him , using her own momentum. She landed crouched down on the floor.

"I guess you havent changed. Still try to be defensive as you can be. You challenged me in this battle. Arent you brave enough to attack me?" she said as she stood up facing him and dusted herself off. Her hair's a little messed up at this point. Quistis decided to just remove the pony tail and let her long hair dance against the wind. Her eyes still fixed on Keisuke.

Quistis did not wait for his reply as she calmly walked towards him...still holding her sword on her right hand, as if trying to make Keisuke attack her.

Old habits die hard, but I am not playing this battle under your terms pretty boy.

OOC - What?! Man... well I guess that's what I get for not posting for like 2 years.. =P

Quistis rolled as she hit the ground from the previous toss. She got up and dusted herself off and begun to let her hair down. Keisuke thought nothing of it, but she stood there waiting for his next move. Keisuke smiled and moved towards her.

"If this is what you want... " He said letting out a small laugh as he incresed his speed running towards her. He threw two punches, first left, then a right at her. Following this short combo he added in a round house kick towards the head to get her off balance.

Quistis braced herself as Keisuke started running towards her, tightening her grip as she held her sword with her right hand.

"That's the spirit.."

He then threw a couple of punches at her. First from Keisuke's left fist which Quistis was able to dodge by stepping back. She saw the second one coming a little too late and all she was able to do was block it with her left forearm. She bit her lip as she felt the force of his fist.

"That hurt you know"

Keisuke then spun around making a roundhouse kick towards Quistis's head. She ducked as she was about to get hit. Quistis seized the opportunity to attack by immediately making an upward slash, now holding the sword with both hands, towards Keisuke right after his leg passed above her head.

Keisuke came in with his roundhouse kick. She managed to duck under the kick, as Keisuke brought his foot back towards him, Quistis was already countering. She drew her sword, and slashed upward at Keisuke. He moved his leg, but it wasn't quick enough to avoid the attack, and ended up slicing his leg. Keisuke cringed as the blade cut his shin, and used the remaining strength in his left leg to spring back away from Quistis.

As he landed a large line was cut into Keisuke's pants exposince his leg from the knee down. Blood started to flow down the leg, as Keisuke inspected the cut. He then tore the cut pant leg off and tied it around his lacaration to prevent further bleeding. He slowly got up after quickly tending to his wound, and countined the fight.

"POOWWWEERR WAAAAVEEE!!" He cried as he gathered energy to his fist and hit the ground. A large wave of energy appeared and headed towards Quistis. Keisuke ran towards Quistis following directly behind the wave of energy, using it to conceal himself.

Quistis managed to cut Keisuke's leg. He stepped back and tended on his wound. She watched him with a smirk on her face.

"Ready?" she asked after Keisuke got up. After a quick nod he then cried

"POOWWWEERR WAAAAVEEE!!"

This was a move very familiar to Quistis. She had seen him use this many times in their previous battle. She knew the devastating force it could do to anything that it hits and as soon as the wave started shooting out at her, Quistis used her wind magic to create a wind barrier in front of her acting as a shield. The impact sent her sliding several meters behind her. She realized that if she kept on holding on, the wave would send her to the edge of the building. Fortunately , the force of the wave stopped just as she was about to be thrown from the ledge. But to her surprise, Keisuke used the wave to conceal himself and was almost right in front of her, preparing for a follow up attack. There was almost no time to react for Quistis as she bended both of her knees and waited for Keisuke to lunge towards her...planning to use his momentum to catch him and throw him off the building.

Quistis managed to bring up a barrier to stop Keisuke's power wave, but the force of the attack pushed her back towards the edge of the building. Keisuke continued running towards her before she can regain a foot hold.

As he neared her, he jumped in the air towards her. "Konoha senpuu!! He cried as he spun around and threw out his foot trying to jump kick her off the edge of the building. As he was about to kick Quistis, it appeared as if she was ready, anticipating this attack. He couldn't help but continue on with his attack, as he flew straight for her!

Damn, how am i going to catch this kick? Quistis thought as she saw Keisuke took off with a jump kick. She had no other choice but do it anyways. Quistis ducked and spun to the side as Keisuke's foot was about to hit her. She missed the kick but Keisuke's arm got caught with her jacket and dragged her with him - both ended up falling off the ledge. Quistis was able to grab on to a portruding section of the building with her right hand, losing her sword in the process. She turned to see where Keisuke have gone.
