Is kids having sex in elementary school normal? Nah.. but it happens. Wierd shit is happening in the real world, so its even more likely in a game.
The easy explanation is she had a huge growth spurt and hit puberty all at the same time. The next possibility is that she was drinking colored water which contained Miracle Grow...  Ok, scratch that one.. perhaps the designers didn't think anyone would pay much attention to that little detail, since she didn't play a big role in the first game. ^_^ Its either that or people progress in age at a different rate than we do in that game.

Right! but when i encounter the FFX then FFX-2
i think like this: tidus losed his paradise and dreams in mess story they defeated sin finaly then they had their world then in FFX-2 girls revolted aginst rules then free journey began in hand of them story is real in mind and can happen but details are awful |

there are a lot of things that I see in the FF series, that seem so insane and completely illogical. But the name of the series is Final Fantasy. so with a title like that, I'd expect anything.

It is game indeed, they just wanted to speed things up. They not only changed Cali but also many of the characters, you have your Yuna there, she has really long hair all the way down to her feet... wicked right?
