Fufufufu, so ballz decided to scan a few things. Not because he has a scanner mind you, because he doesn't. In fact, these as of now are just sketches. I haven't inked them yet. Because I'm lazy and afraid of f***ing it all to hell.


Anyways, here is the first of 5<2. Unfortunately, there may be dips in quality due to scanning and resizing and darkening with photoshop. Since pencil is oh so hard to see.


Ohohoho, ballzy redraws Tsutomu Nihei's Killy and Pcell!

This can be compared with the coloured version (not the sketch version from the Blame! And So On artbook) and other coloured version.


Give it a few more hours and I'll also add in an Aoi Nanase and a few Hiroaki Samura. Give it a few more days and there'll be Hyung-Tae Kim too. Then probably Kaoru Yuki and maybe Jiro Matsumoto. And then...yes.

Yeah, this will probably be the only time Ballz ever puts the originals up too. Because that takes time and effort. F*** that shit, I'd rather not exert my hands. They are precious to me.

It should also be noted that Ballzy experimented with Photoshop, attempting to make the Ballz-sketches darker and clearer (and resizing due to the space the files took) to see. This either resulted in lowering of quality and visibility of lines or harshness of the whole sketch. Maybe both. Kinda like Wally's genitalia. Wink.

holy crap those are amazing. I got to say i really envy your talent. I am starting to take art more seriously, i have bought a few books to help me get going but i haven't really used them. I really want to take drawing more seriously, I have a friend who I draw with, he's a lot more consistent than I am and we have fun drawing up our made up characters, but your stuff is awesome.

the one of Manji is cool, he reminds me of Ganondorf in Wind Waker.
And that guy in the "SUPER" is cool too.

My style is called 'copying'. And pencil.



Hiroaki Samura does Blade of the Immortal, which the last three were.

I have no idea what Aoi Nanase does, but I saw her Lilith and I was like, "Wally, spank me harder or else I won't draw that." So he did because he's a pedophile.

And the first was just Tsutomu Nihei's Blame!.

I'm guessing people can tell which ones were the originals and which were redone by yours truly. But to clarify, the ones that look better are probably done by the original artists. Unless Wally completely sexify's some with his super-enhanced tongue. Really good at rimjobs.


Ballz's Lesson: Books suck ass. Because if you're really good at it, you can find all sorts of books on the internet. For free. Yeah. And besides, all they do is teach generic style. You don't want that shit. You want edgy, provactive stuff that would make OJ Simpson turn in his grave.

Ballz's Promise: I figured I'll start doing my own original art now. Too bad it really looks like a mix between Tsutomu Nihei's and Tsutomu Takahashi's plus a dash of Kaori Yuki and Hyung Tae Kim. And ocassionally Oh! Great, Hiroki Endo, and Hiroaki Samura. So go look at their stuff. And Berserk while at it.

On Ballz's promise: I lied. Well, actually I didn't. See, I made that promise after drawing (copying) tons and gabillizillions of stuff. So from now forth I won't copy. Nuts.

See, the first one was from Blue Heaven, a short and sweet tale of love, betrayal, and various psychos killing various people, mainly asians. But what is this? We have an asian willing to take a stand against those capitalist pigs! Ri Seiryuu, you make me jizzum. Oh yes.

While the next one was what the maylasians call a "college". You know, back in the hayday when the maylasians ruled the western world with their mighty trojan bulls and various god-giving killing weapons. It's funny because Zeus f***ed women in shape of bulls, swans, and shining rays of light. I bet he made a few guys cry too.

Anyways, the pretty little thing with the plant stuff on her head would be Akane of Leviathan, early sketch of course. Below would be the head of Haruko of FLCL. She makes phallic symbols pop out of guy'ses headses. And lastly Emi Isuzu, who apparently has "the hottest back in town" according to some (ballzy assumes he's a he) guy (I bet he's white) at mangatranslation.com (Oh god I stuck utter goatass at betting, never bet me anything because I lose and then I'll have to use voodoo magic to feed your soul to Squirtle, my personal lord and saviour). She's from Tenjo Tenge, licensed somewhere maybe near you! Those f***s would never license Leviathan though, because well, maybe they would, for it's wierd and fun and sexual gratification factor. They'd probably choose MPD Psycho first though, only because it's more 'shocking' which to me isn't. Leviathan, that's fun. MPD Psycho = gets very convulted and man my eyes hurt I guess it must be the barcode.

When my sex buddy sends me the rest, the rest will be seen. As in the rest I scanned there. I hate that f***tard *****.

So I took the body off some guy off Waive and used Cain as semi-model for the face. Everything else was rather original. Except for that one eye which was from Madoka of Tenjo Tenge. And Miyavi's pretty little head. And all the hands. From people. And unfinished Mika Nakashima. And so forth. Word.

What, you thought I forgot all about this? F*** no, all of this last year was drawing this and drawing that, thanks to a crappy schedule and aversion to actual work.

But now I've got a wonderful scanner/printer/copier all-in-one, which means it's going to take a while for me to upload all of the garbage I did. INSTALLMENTS DAMMIT, it'll be in installments because I am lazy.


So let's start from the beginning, shall we? Of course.


Two years ago

I took art that year. Oh and no you will not find out my real name, even though I think I mentioned it several times before, somewhere.

It became the 'Kaori Yuki' year.

Yeah, that style haunted me for another year.

We had to do twenty sketches by the end of the year, good ones. Funny how I handed in stuff late.

Why? 20 isn't a lot, considering how I practically doubled that number this year.

Anyways, we're just picking out the better ones (BWAHAHA I took out my first name you pok guys. Note: that's not even my signature.)

Because a lot of it was pure dog crap. And we knew it.

We just handed in stuff for marks. That stuff I won't show, unless it was real secksi.

If you know what I copied from (all you have to do is check the filename, most of the time) you can tell I changed the drawing slightly. Why? Probably because I couldn't draw it. Or it was just too.....gay? But now......yeah, I want hot near-naked boys.

One year ago

I didn't do much that year. Revised some old ones, did more Kaori Yuki.

However, most of it was in my accounting workbook. And that's trashed.

This one actually has one from later on (the right one), I just drew it on the same paper.

Beginning of this year (as in around Sept. 2004)

I began trying to ditch the Kaori Yuki style.

And so I started copying actual people (Note: No real people in this one, I think).

At which I realized I didn't like that too much (they kept moving and getting uncomfortable when they found me in the corner staring at them. What jerkoffs.)....

I obviously decided to move on.

As you can still see, I haven't shown the 'moved on' yet. Actually I have, in the earlier posts. That's 'moved on'. Which by now, has moved on some more.


And yeah, that's pretty much most of my old stuff, at least all I could find (that also looked presentable and scannable). Tune in soon for the 'moved on' super hot phase! MANU'S VOICE TURNS ME ON.

Holy Crap! Those Are Real Sh*t(in The Good Sense), How Can Do That!! It Is Amazing! I Really Love The Style And The Coloured Ones. You Have A Lot Of Talent

Please remember, almost all I do is copy. It's pretty simple, all you've gotta do is look at something and then recreate it. So basically, the only talent I have is copying sketches or stuff to that effect. No colours for me! (Because I can't colour worth shit. Painting? Oh god what a trainwreck that turned into. Seriously, I had a pretty good lineart thing which had to be painted. Now it is forever ruined and will never be seen again, unless you raid my room because it's somewhere in there.)

Anywho, here comes set 2. I don't feel like putting stuff in order anymore so it's all just going to be whatever from the year.

The next four were all for school. All I did for this one was copy a page (well, two pages really) of BLAME! I think it was volume 10. It was supposed to be for Cannery Row, showing desolation or some shit. BLAME!'s got that in spades.

Yeah, all of these were for Cannery Row. Stupid english assignments. Easy marks though, even if I didn't learn a single thing in the year. Bad because I went into english and creative writing. CHINAMAN. And suicide. Copied off Tsutomu x2 (Nihei and Takahashi) plus Inoue Takehiko. The old man was modeled off of that great swordsman guy from Vagabond, I forgot his name. That other drawing of the old man on the right was taken from the BLAME! artbook, Deadheads section. I just replaced the girl. And the suicide which didn't turn out too well was from Angel's Share, the cover.

This one's actually semi-original...kinda. Only the bum with the hat was copied, based off of Dhomochevsky of BLAME! fame. The rest was all made up which shows since it looks pretty crappy.

I noticed that some of the scans ended up difficult to see, mainly because I draw really really light at times. That and I suck at scanning. Anyways, CAT. Fung Chin Pang. That guy/girl rocks. I changed the sexy Cat to some guy and just threw some kid on the side. And yes, it's supposed to represent something in Cannery Row as well. Aha aha.

Like I said, bad scanning. It's all from Blade of the Immortal. I don't like that Maki. My drawing, I mean. Because Maki is hot stuff.

NIPPLE! I like Hyung Tae Kim. It's kinda like my love of Kaneko Kazuma and Megaten (No wait, I really do like Megaten. GO PLAY IT YOU CONSUMER WHORE). I don't even know what Manga Carta's all about but I'd still get it due to his art (That and a craving for some fun rpgs. Even though I've already got a bunch unfinished. Man I need to stop procrastinating). Oh and no, that's just an uncleaned up breast-area-thing. I really didn't mean to show her tit. Anarchy you perv-mexican.


It'll probably be around six a day because I am lazy and I feel like dragging this thing out. Woot. YOUJEEN I LOVE YOU.

While Manji is over in the corner, the majority of this is BLAME! material. OLD MAN SAFEGUARD.

Notice a trend? IT'S VARIOUS SKETCH AND COLLAGE TIME!!!1 A lil bit o' BLAME! and Jiro. An unfinished Manji and a Hyung Tae Kim that's too light to be seen.

A more recent one. Most of it's from this one artist I like. His/her art's not mindf***ing, but I like it nevertheless. Shirow Miwa's in there too, with crappy Range Murata's.

Please keep giving me praise because......actually, f*** it. As much as being an artist would be awesome and all, I know it's not happening. Not realizing how much one sucks, well, that's something I try to avoid by constantly telling myself how much I suck. Keeps everything in perspective.


With that said, shazaam. I totally f***ed up on Killy in this one.

Because now it is the BLAME! game.

This time I decided to throw together some crap I did for a storyboard. At this point you can see how crap I am when not copying (even though all the characters were copied). A lil bit from whoever did Rangarok, Hiroki Endo, Inoue Takehiko, Hideo Yamamoto, Tohru Fujisawa, Naoki Urasawa, and the person who did Let's Nupu Nupu. Unfortunately I never got to use all of the characters (The TWIM guy and the girl especially).

Left to right, western style. I think. This is actually the second part. The first part involved the guy in the coat who I dubbed the Aryan. It involved eugenics or something. Blood, violence, and genetic discrimination, oh my!

I liked how these pissed off Chanky Asshat a lot. The fact that some of the guys were laughing at what happened in the storyboards. No, it wasn't funny. I think they were laughing at how absurd it all was. Because I don't think it was funny. Seriously. OH LOOK AT ME, I'M SO MYSTERIOUS AND BADASS BECAUSE I LAUGH AT MURDER AND MAYHEM. Only if you partake in the murder and mayhem. Like I'd get my hands dirty with such filth. My soft, precious hands.

As you can tell, not only did I not do backgrounds, but did some boards real quick and others I may have actually spent some time. You might also notice that I really don't have a clue how to do storyboards. Or draw well. Copying, it's all about copying.

I stopped there because I got lazy and didn't need to hand it in. Here's more preliminaries for another storyboard that the teacher never gave back to me. I don't even know if he marked it.

I ripped off Tsutomu Nihei, Kaori Yuki, some picture of a crow, and Yuu Kinutani for this. That crappy thing with the tongue I made up.

I think I might be halfway through the stash already! SHIEZA. I also can't count.
