Yes, it is the revival of the TFF Femme Fatales, with a new generation of women!

Some basic rules:

1. This is a club for women. Not girls, but women. Be mature.
2. This club is invite-only. Be aware that if you ask for membership, your chances of being let in will severely decrease.
3. No men are allowed to post in this club without previous permission from one of the Femmes. Men, if you post, I'll send Shadow out to get you.
4. The basic rules: I expect you not to flame, spam, etc.

What do you like about being a woman? What do you hate?

I like having control over men and being able to use the "I have my period" excuse. But on the other hand, I hate having a period. They suck.

What do I like about being a woman? Man... I have to agree with Shannen about using the period remark, it gets them everytime. But I also hate having my period, and having uber strong emotions, I hate being "driven" by them.

Oh, and another thing I like: Long, hot baths. One of which I'm about to take now! And I guess being able to have kids is pretty cool too.

Yeah, I made my exit before I even posted in here. So it's all good.

What do I like about being a woman? I do enjoy becoming instantly more attractive just by proving that I can do something a guy can do. Or proving that I can talk about something guys talk about without flinching. That one might not make me more attractive, but it's fun for me. And um.... yeah, the period excuse is pretty nifty. Definitely. And the kids thing? Fabulous.

By the way.... I've been appointed the femenist in my church group. In Sunday school this morning, we were talking about the Gospels. And we took this "quiz" for fun to see what we knew. And one of the questions was, "How many wise men were there at Jesus' birth?" The answer is that the Bible never says how many, it just says that there were three gifts. So they were talking about all the possibilities saying things like, "or it could have been 2 guys with 3 presents." "or maybe one couldn't come, so the two took his present with them." "or maybe there were like 50 and they all brought the same thing." And I wanted to know what the next answer was, so (jokingly, I swear), I said, "or we could go to the next question." And then the teacher smiled, and said, "I think Alisyn's tired of talking about the wise men." To which my youth director, Bruce, replied, "Would you rather talk about the wise women?"
And I said, "Hey! I just wanted to know what the next answer was! Oh, so I guess I'm the designated femenist around here." And then I had to turn my purse over, because I have a Rosy the Riveter button on it.... We can do it!

I like how women can dress up like men without being thought of as gay or something . Not that there's something wrong about that but we can wear pants and still be regarded as straight.

What I hate about being a woman is that our default is to be emotional. Periods and pain of childbirth. But that was Eve's fault. so heh.

Haha, this one time in Biology class, the teacher told us about some woman who hadn't had a period for years because she was a professional track runner. To have kids she had to stop running and gain some weight, which took about a year. Haha, but when the teacher said she didn't have a period for years, I said to my friend Rachel "That's awesome!" and some guy heard...he thought it was hilarious.

Hmm..that's weird. Do you guys ever dream about getting married and having kids someday? I used to not want to be married but now I want to find that special someone.lol. Especially now that Im already 25. Im not sure about having kids though, sounds like it's too painful.. gah!

Getting married and having kids? Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to just be married and not have kids, to just be with my husband. But in a way that kind of life seems a bit... unfulfilled in a way. I wouldn't mind having kids, but only about 2-3; my aunt has 13 children, and that just scares me.

I wouldn't want kids unless I can give them my complete attention, which means that I'd want to be done with college and have a "career" for a little while, and then raise kids. I think kids really need you growing up, there's no way I'd put them in a daycare.

I just loooove to be a woman because, like, oh my gosh, it's like, LOL. It's just so fun to be able to toy with a boy's mind. We have the upper hand, and they know they can do absolutely nothing about it. Imagine if we were men, wouldn't that be weird?! We'd be prone to NAUGHTY URGES all day long and probably end up thinking about it every few seconds! That'd just be sad...We have better things to do with our time, right?!

What I don't like being a girl is...Well, a given. Between cramps and bloating and migraines my period feels like a seal has crawled through my mouth, into my stomach, and is dancing around whilst slapping away at my intestines. But of course, you can't forget the bear that's repeatedly hitting me over the head with his sledgehammer hands. It's really bad!

But, like I said before, that's a given. So in order to be creative, I pose this:

Choosing between tampons and pads. I mean, they both have their ups and downs, and it makes it really hard to choose! It's like having to make a choice between dark and white chocolate...Although, I do prefer white chocolate. Anyway, I usually go with the pads. They may be a bit more constricting, but it's a lot more comfortable for me! I can't just put on/in a tampon like my glasses and forget about it like some people do. But you know, there comes a time in every woman's life where you've just gotta, so you know! Plus, Dracula's teabag requires lots of unsanitary replacement, which isn't fun either!
