Omega has levelled up - (lv 1)
Best Job/Class

Since we have a worst thread, what is the Best Job/Class in the game, in your opinion?

I am actually pretty fond of the Knight and the Hunter, and my vote would probably have to go to the Hunter. Sshot, is simply too good of an ability that you can exploit with pretty much any other class.

As far as Mages, I think the most effective is probably the Sorceror or the Black Mage. The Black Mage actually has some pretty good destructive power in this game, and the Sorceror can really put the hurt on, with it's Magic Sword attacks.

The White Mages in comparison were pretty disappointing, I mean healing aside, there protect spells did not affect or could be targeted to the whole group. Making the Blue Mage with Guardian, so much more efficient and reliable. The Time Mage is fairly weak too, not having enough offensive firepower and of course the totally unreliable Demi spell set.

I gotta go with the mime on this. There were so many good jobs that it's hard to pick but if used correctly the mime can be devestating. Keep in mind of course that you gotta already have the abilities to put into the slots of this job for it to work. Give one black magic/white magic, another summoning and the other 2 with attack and item and it can be a very powerful party. However if we are going by what abilities are given then I would have to go with samurai: Fdraw was good for training and $toss was phenominal if you have the money to spair, so for last boss it's great

I'm gonna say the Samurai, I like the innate abilities to block most physical attacks. I mean everything always missed PLUS the evade with the shield they were unhittable. Next is the fact that they equip Katana's which have a naturally high critical hit rate, so on average they have a higher attack. And last but not least Coin Toss did an insane amount of damage, almost too much it was actually kind of a cheap attack because it did so much damage.

(I'm assuming that we're not counting the mastered bare in this cause he's the best hands down)
