89% with a Perfect Ending

I'd hate to brag... But I did get the Perfect Ending at 89%.

I don't know how... But I guess you don't need ALL the side-quests... Besides, getting 100% would be too much of a pain in the @$$!

How is that possible? I've gotten 98% and not the perfect ending. I've gotten 99 and no dice. That damn Trema, he never let me win. Damn him!!!!!

The deepest I got in the Infinito is level 36. That's where I died from that red dragon fiend... Then I quit trying at it... My characters weren't high enough level to face it anyways, so I tried to complete everything else. Maybe the percent doesn't matter. Maybe it's just the things that happens... I haven't gone threw the Den of Woe, yet, and I'm on that...

And I swear! 89% and a Perfect Ending! It's true!

Oh!!! And about your red dragon problem......there's one solution. DON'T FACE THEM!!!!!! Their big bullies!! They're not fun to play with!
If you need to face them, try three dark knights on the valiant lustre garment grid, and just use darkness repeatedly. Auto-protect doesn't hurt either.

You probably haven't seen all the more important things in the game... For one, there's a meeting between Nooj, Baralai and Gippal at Bevelle... Have you seen that? And don't say I'm SPOILING, 'cuz I didn't say what happened.

Yeah, I've seen all of that crap. I think i'm only missing the Trema fight, though, the others say you don't need it. I'm so confused!! i saw all the extra scenes, did the thunder plains, the desert, and the mi'ihen highroad crap! Let me see your memory card, then I'll believe you... maybe. You don't work for the government do you?

I don't work for the government. And I didn't defeat Trema, let alone get past level 30 of the Via Infinito. I haven't done the Den of Woe, yet, I'm still finding all the Crimson Spheres. Got them all except #5 *curses*. And, have you seen the meeting between Nooj Baralai and Gippal in Bevelle? I saw that earlier in the game that I had gotten the Perfect Ending on...

Wow, way to turn a decent thread into a spamfest.

If you don't mind, I'd like you to load up that file (if you still have it) and take a screenshot of the percentage you've completed and compose a list of all the missions you finished. I've never heard of anyone getting the Perfect Ending at under 100%.

I do have an idea though... how FAST did you do it? Time might play a part in this if you've gotten the Perfect without a perfect score.
