What makes Cloud so cool?

Don't get me wrong, he is pretty damn awesome. But what makes everyone so gung-ho about him?

Just list your reasons for loving him.

Personally I like Squall much more, aside from the fact that he becomes a whipped softy near the end.

I think what you REALLY want to ask is, what makes ZACK so cool. He's Cloud's real identity, but the reasons are basically the same like Sephiroth's.. the hair, the sword, SOLDIER, hero and villain, etc.

Oh, and the love triangle with Aeris and Tifa...

..and possible yaoi with Vincent and Sephiroth.

Daaamn. He is one lucky pixelite.

Only FF character brave enough to cross-dress, I suppose(?) I wouldn't be caught dead in that little ensemble he wore to woo ol' Don Corneo.

Other than this, I have no idea what makes this guy so cool. I look forward to more people posting, so they can tell me themselves.

the thing that makes Cloud cool to me is the fact that he is messed up, I mean I just kept wondering what the **** was wrong with him, lol. and he has a big sword lol. So yeah, wierd is good lol.

Okay, when I was a brainless kid (13-14, when I first registered here) I thought Cloud was the f*cking man.

Of course, back then FFVII-FFIX were the only ones I had ever played.

Now, I've played every FF, beaten only one (FFVIII, I SHOULD just get off my ass and kill Kefka and Sephiroth to finish VI and VII, but I'm not a big fan of letting things end. =\)

I gotta say, after seeing better character's, Cloud's a dumb bastard.

Of course, it's not like Squall is much better. He's more emotional than a PMSing girl (No offense to females, but in most cases it's true.)

If Cloud didnt have that "I'm a badass so I dont care what happens to you or the planet" attitude I would have thought he was pretty cool. His hair was cool but exagerated and his swords were ridiculously huge. His limit breaks were awesome though, Like Squall's, Tidus's and Auron's.

It's real simple. He's named after me. Okay, seriously... at first, it was the sword. That and the attitude. But now, I think it's that Cloud's a pretty conflicted character. What he has to go through in FF7 is some pretty incredible stuff, and I think it's interesting to watch it unfold. He's quite unlike any other FF hero, and that's why he's the man.

AND he a pimp cause he got aeris AND tifa on his ****!!

i don't like Squall that much cause that girl Rinoa wuz practically throwin it at him ever since they met, but he wuz a dumbass, he also coulda scored wit Quistis in the beginin (she kinda hot) but he had to play her like that at the "meeting place"

that's why i like Cloud- he kno how to handle the ladies.
